Amazing location and the wine lives up to the view. We stopped by in the off season and they were nice enough to show us around and let us taste the wine that just finished fermentation. Make a reservation for tasting.

We learned about Ottoventi wines in a restaurant on the island of Lipari which prompted us to visit the winery as we were staying in Valderice.We loved our visit. We got a very personalized tour of the beautiful installations. This young winery is uniquely positioned between Erice and Trapani, both of which we can admire from the property.All the wines we tasted were refined and well balanced. Clearly the white wines are their strength, but even the Nero D’Avola is worth the detour.This winery is a gem and we just wish their wines were more widely available in Canada, but we will bring back several bottles…
