Beautiful and unique genuine leather bags for a price you cannot beat. Daniele was extremely helpful and my sister and I did not feel pressured at all. We ended up buying four bags because everything was so lovely and you really cannot find this quality for these prices. Highly, highly recommend.

I found out about this place through my teacher and I'm glad that I went! Such nice leather goods! I've been wanted to find a nice leather bag but saw too many stores that I didn't like, but this place has such a unique style and many personal designs. The shop owner is so nice and accommodating customer wants. I got two bags, two coin wallets, and 9 personalized bracelets. It was amazing how the owner whipped out the bracelets in no time! If you want something specific done, he is able to do it! Every product is unique, carefully thought out, and amazing. HIGHLY recommend coming here. I will definitely come back to this shop next time I'm in Florence!

We found this store off the beaten path in Florence and couldn’t have had a better experience. Daniele is an artisan and a gentleman. I never write reviews, but made an exception here. Our group of four adults and five kids might have been a recipe for disaster but we were made to feel at ease and not pressured to purchase or to leave. We ended up buying a couple of bags, a few belts and purses. Everything was great quality and workmanship. Daniele even hand stitched a new buckle to a belt, and embroidered my son’s initials onto a leather bookmark for free.

My fiance and I recently traveled to Florence. We had heard about the high quality leather there, but when we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of shops and stalls. We are total leather novices and had no idea how to distinguish good from bad. After browsing a little and having no success, we decided to research artisan leather shops and found a list of recommendations in Italy magazine. Because it was Sunday, the closest one open was Cuor di Pelle. This shop is in a nice location near the Florence synagogue, which took us away from the city center and dense crowds.We are so happy we decided to go to Cuor di Pelle. The artist, Daniele, was immediately engaging as soon as we walked in the door - he was probably the nicest person we met in Florence. We were really impressed by him, his work, and his shop. He was extremely helpful, answering our long list of basic questions before we even asked them. It was clear to us that he is truly passionate about leather, not just out to make a living. His passion comes across in his work, as it is all beautiful. We ended up buying several handbags as gifts. A couple days later, we went to some other shops, which were also amazing. However, we ended up going back to Cuor di Pelle and bought a few more items because we were so impressed by the work. We can highly recommend Cuor di Pelle, especially for people who are traveling to Firenze and want to learn more about leather. This shop and artist should be high on your list to visit and support!

Very friendly seller. My personalised leather bracelet was made in a few minutes with a fair price. Beautiful and various genuine leather products. Highly recommended!

Daniele is a true master of his craft. I loved meeting him and visiting his lovely leather shop as well as learning all about how his products are made. Our shopping experience was fun and we ended up purchasing 2 beautifully crafted bags that I can not wait to use as soon as I get home. If you're in Florence and are looking for handcrafted leather goods your owe it to yourself to visit Daniele's shop.
