Evidentemente vista la quantità di stranieri che c’è, ci si dimentica che siamo sempre in Italia e la qualità del servizio va comunque garantita come non altrove.Sono stato accolto già in maniera poco gradevole poiché il cameriere si è fatto trovare con lo spray in mano e guardandomi cercava di capire dove volessi sedermi (senza nemmeno salutare) per poi andarlo a pulire al momento con questo spray in mano, AGGIUNGO anche che mentre stavamo mangiando, ha lavato e spruzzato il tavolo accanto, facendo puzza e senza curarsi appunto del servizio ma quasi come se fossimo in una fabbrica.Poi mi ha strappato il menu da mano quando l’ho chiesto comunicandomi poi dopo che la cucina era chiusa, assolutamente NO, così non si fa.I fusilloni erano senza sale,Il pesce solo si salvava ma con tutte queste cose negative quasi non l’ho apprezzato.Mi dispiace, il pane sempre a chi non ha i denti.Il cassiere poi non se n’è fregato proprio della mia critica alla cassa.Grazie per averci fatto passare questo bel sabato sera a Sorrento.MPARATV A CAMPÁ

The food is decent if you can get it. The waitstaff though are quite obnoxious.Peak of lunch hour the place was empty, should have been our first clue to avoid the place, we still went ahead and ate here.There was one very young boy, who was very sweet. The other person though, almost acted as if serving us was such an inconvenience.We ordered the food and kept waiting for the pizza to arrive. We got the other things and asked about the pizza, he said we never ordered it. We said we did, he just refused to accept that we ordered it, and just kept saying no. Who talks to customers in that manner?The attitude that was thrown around was inversely proportionate to the taste of the food.Maybe they treat locals better, but as a tourist, I would say avoid this place. Before someone says it’s Europe and service is always bad, I’ve travelled around Europe enough to know this isn’t true, this place was the exception.

My recent visit to Ristorante La Basilica was nothing short of exceptional. Although we walked in around 10 pm, just as they were about to close, the staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. They seated us with a smile and provided us with attentive and professional service throughout our meal.The star of the show was the grilled fish that I ordered. It was cooked to perfection, with a delicate and flavorful seasoning that I've never tasted before. It was one of the best fish dishes I have ever had in my life. The side dishes were also noteworthy, with each bite bursting with flavor and freshness.What was truly impressive was the level of service that we received. Despite the late hour, our server was gracious and attentive, ensuring that our meal was enjoyable and relaxing. He made us feel as though we were the only customers in the restaurant, and we were never rushed or made to feel like an inconvenience.The ambiance of Ristorante La Basilica was also lovely. The decor was elegant and tasteful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The overall dining experience was nothing short of top-notch.In conclusion, I would highly recommend Ristorante La Basilica to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. The service was outstanding, and the food was some of the best I have ever tasted. The fact that they accommodated us so graciously even though they were about to close, makes me feel even more impressed.

Amazing mussels warm main dish, delicious amazing 5+ stars ! Different from the Belgian moules marinières cooking way, a must try :) Called Impepata di Cozze on the menu in the starters category. Clean toilets for handicapped. Lovely atmosphere inside and outside. Nice sitting spots with harbour view and under sunshades. Convenient before or after your boat tour.

Sono stato oggi 6 gennaio 2023, vero che è un giorno di festa ma pagare 12 euro per un antipasto così un fiore di zucca ripieno, 2 mozzarelle fritte ed una pallina di riso con due fili fritti sopra è esagerato come lo è stato un piattino di patatine che non erano un granché 6€, e poi per non parlare della pizza, me la sarei aspettata a Londra a Parigi o in un'altra Nazione ma no in una paese della Campania, il panetto della pizza secondo me era di 120/130 gr quando poi una pizza margherita deve essere minimo 250/280 gr, per me è una mignon pizza e si paga tanto questa nella foto è una sorrentina da 12 € in pratica una margherita con 3 fette di melanzane. Io personalmente non ci entrerò più, poi ognuno è libero di scegliere dove andare.

Service here was awesome and spoke good English. We sat inside cuz they have air conditioning! So needed during the summerTo start my hubby and I shared the zucchini flowers stuffed with smoked ricotta. Very tasty although a bit greasy. The smoke ricotta has a strong smoked flavour which I liked but my husband though was a bit too much. Then we shared a pizza (#67). It was pretty good. Didn’t have any pizza sauce though; or at least red sauce…must have missed that in the description. And we really prefer pizza with a red sauce. It was good but not excellent. Will try another if we go back. They have goo draft beer and excellent choices of wine!

The food was very good, not expensive. The service was perfect! Nice place to have dinner! I totally recommend it!
