I see the owner only replies to the people who give 5 stars...BEWARE of house called Bogolaro/Villa Kiwi, which we rented outside of Catania.The description of the house was not the reality of the house. I think that HII should really make a concerted effort to vet their properties. Ours was damp, extremely noisy from a major road that runs along the house, which is NOT mentioned anywhere on their website description. The rooms are photographed in a way to make them appear cosy and inviting, they are cold, weirdly laid out, (one bedroom is made from an internal space without any windows,) and there are glass doors to the bedrooms. The beds are low and uncomfortable, you can feel the coils when lying on the mattress on one of the beds. The furniture is not the same in the photos as in the house. There are birds in the chimney which make a lot of noise. And the selling point of the property, which has a very lovely pool, is this pool house which isn't clearly explained in the description either, one is led to believe that the house is integrated, whereas this pool area and wine cellar are not part of the living space.Air-conditioning in the master didn't work... and so on...When we requested a partial refund for the stay, as we wanted to leave after an unpleasant conversation with the on property staff, they refused. I think HII should have done a lot better by us, especially as they failed to give us the honest description of this house. The staff are all lovely when you speak to them, but they don't have any real customer service at the end of the day... They have lost my business and I rent a lot of villas in Italy.

they clearly dont vet or control their homes at all. even discounting marketing exaggerations, the difference between what was displayed on their website vs the reality of the house we rented was significant.on top of that they take zero responsibility for any of their mistakes or issues arising.suffice to say we wont be using them again

Wonderful service and beautiful villa!We recently worked with Home in Italy to book Villa Verdi (also known as Villa Tegagnono) a lovely property, near Cortona. The well equipped, comfortable and situated on beautifully landscaped grounds with breathtaking views. Giuseppe was an excellent host who ensured we were well acquainted with how everything worked before leaving us, and his helpers took equally good care of us throughout the week. Benedetta and all the Home in Italy staff I interacted with were tremendously helpful in finding the villa and maintained great communication throughout the process to ensure everything went smoothly. I appreciated the concierge service whereby we were able to have the villa pre-stocked with groceries upon arrival. Highly recommend both Home in Italy and the Villa Verdi property.

We stayed at Fortino Villa in Furore on the Amalfi coast. This was our best, most memorable holiday ever for 3 generations of my family. It was truly heaven on earth. I could not fault the service leading up to the holiday and during the holiday. The staff were attentive, courteous and gracious. Attention to detail was excellent ensuring that we always had anything we would require. The house and surroundings were sublime.We would love to return in future.

This beautiful Villa Aria is positioned on the top of a hill looking at olive groves and vineyards with views to the ocean in two directions. It is minutes from the Main street of Noto and well positioned to explore the towns of the southeast. The team of Home in Italy could not have been more professional and courteous. The lady who met us was delightful and an amazing cook who produced delicious meals at our request. The Villa is exceptionally calming and comfortable and a - modern design that utilises Sicilian limestone beautifully. We highly recommend this company as well as as this particular Villa. Ask for Tina to cook!!! We will certainly be using this company again.KA

We had a dream vacation in Tuscany and would definitely recommend trusting Home in Italy with their properties and service. Top notch!Communication assistance before and during our trip from Home in Italy was excellent. The staff was impeccable, the property is gorgeous, the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again with Home in Italy.

We stayed at villa alleroni near Martina Franca. Beautiful house and location. It’s a little hard to find and the transfer sadly didn’t speak any English or knew where the exact location is. The internet connection wasn’t good and crashed several times a day. The rest was really really nice. There were many little villages around and it’s close the sea. The house is tastefully furnished and offers anything you need for cooking and living. Yoga mats were also available.Another highlight was the pizza oven that worked quite good.. after studying it for 30mins.I would book it again and recommend it. We had a wonderful family vacation.Ps. the service via Home in Italy was very good and reachable 24/7. thank you.
