Monaci delle Terre Nere

I invited my family here for a relaxing time in a beautiful environment. While they enjoyed themselves and believed it was an unique experience, I do not think it was the exceptional 5-star experience I wanted to give them! The attention to detail is poor…the suite I had pre-booked…had a broken water boiler, which should have been checked before we arrived. We weren’t able to take a warm shower on our first night, though, they were apologetic and upgraded to a bigger suite. A lot of other little services also just gave us an impression that the training of staff is not on par with standards of a 5 star. On a good note, the food and wines are delicious!

Strada per arrivare improponibile ma non è colpa loro . Personale molto gentile e disponibile ma invadente e di scarsa competenza .Prezzi fuori da ogni logica ingiustificati rispetto a quello che mangi.Per quanto riguarda la cantina la maggior parte dei vini sono locali ma al solito sembrava essere sulle Langhe per i prezzi anche qui sopra la media, ma alla vista della pellicola sulle bottiglie una risata e si va a casa …..

Di 5 stelle ha solo la nomina. Personale trattato come schiavi, dirigenti esauriti e pazzi.Maleducazione e sporciziaClassico posto che vuole solo apparire nascondendo il fango sotto i tappeti.Strade in condizioni critiche, sembra abbiano fatto una guerra. Ottime per distruggere qualsiasi veicolo a meno che non si salga con un Fuoristrada.Personale che commenta in maniera volgare le turiste (pensando che nessuno li capisca) compresi dirigenti.Valletti che non capiscono nemmeno l’italiano, sporchi e puzzolenti.L’unica cosa bella è la vista è qualche suite. Ma i prezzi sono talmente esagerati che non li vale solo per la vista o per una piccola piscina.DA EVITARE

We just arrived and are already so impressed… the restaurant was phenomenal and we loved both our severs and Marco the sommelier. The property is gorgeous and they cater to your every need. The bar and bartender and the shop are lovely as well. I am recommending this to all our friends…!

A wonderful place with the kindest employees. A beautiful funky bar combining a variation of styles and a special interior design overall. Thank you for the short but memorable experience.

This is a wonderful resort for a nice retreat. We stayed one night here and drove here straight from Catania airport. The property is so magical and relaxing.Nice green scenery and you have a great view of the top of Etna from the breakfast room. Room was nice and spacious, very comfortable. Only thing I would highlight is that the bathroom shower can be slippery and unsafe. Please take extra care.Breakfast was very nice and generous. Everything was fresh and probably coming from their own orchard.We had dinner in the hotel restaurant - Locanda Nerello - which was not bad.

Beautiful grounds, nice design and great concept but ultimately falls short in terms of service and hospitality expected at this level. Service was underwhelming and it was hard to get help when needed. Wifi didn’t work in the room.The environmental ethos rang hollow when you heard their fossil fuel-guzzling helicopter soaring above and seemed more like an excuse to squeeze profits by using bottom tier toilet paper and cutting down on cleaning.To try to better understand the surroundings, we requested a ”botanical walk” as described per the website but was driven around in a golf cart for 5 minutes by a stressed receptionist who pointed out a few trees. Not the ”extraordinary sensory experience” advertised.At € 700 a night there needs to be some attention to detail and better storytelling to make up for the dirty grout in the bathroom and unenthused staff.

Abbiamo trascorso la serata di capodanno , location bellissima anche se di sera non si può godere pienamente del posto . Cena organizzata in una veranda esterna , piatti buoni ma non eccellenti , servizio buono , acustica scadente . Brindisi e ballo in un’altra sala da raggiungere esternamente . Brindisi con champagne fuori dal menu ‘ . Prezzo del menù alto a cui aggiungere lo champagne di fine serata . Cantina fornita e posizionata in una location bellissima . Dress code esageratamente sportivo da parte di molti partecipanti . Pecca importante i bagni del ristorante con poca attenzione alle ragnatele . Capisco che siamo in campagna , ma un po’ più di attenzione sarebbe stata necessaria
