Questo ristorante si trova proprio in riva al mare e puoi mangiare piatti tipici di pesce freschissimo! L’unica cosa che devo recensire è che la pasta secondo me era troppo ardente e doveva cuocere almeno altri 2 minuti,sopratutto il pacchero con la rana pescatrice…era davvero troppo ardente…però per la qualità del pesce e per la freschezza non ho nulla da dire…molto molto buono…antipasto ottimo e frittura leggera e gustosa. I prezzi sono giusti perché comunque il pesce è fresco e mangiate in riva al mare! Un consiglio,cambiate i menù cartacei (non i piatti) xk sono vecchi e rovinati. Ci ritornerei volentieri

AMAZING! Family run restaurant with fresh seafood, delicious meals and great views! We ate here twice it was so great and we loved the atmosphere! I recommend the marinara muscles for entree, fish of the day is cooked whole and is simple and delicious and the clam pasta is so yum!

Incredibly fresh seafood, cheaper prices than at Sorrento proper, outdoor seats fronting the beach, and helpful staff make for an unforgettable experience at this restaurant in the midst of a working fisherman's village. They are always worth the short descent and eventual climb back to Sorrento.For appetizers, their sauteed mussels were prepared well and simply, beards removed and still sweet as they were unbelievably fresh. Portions were very generous. They served nearly an entire loaf of bread, fresher than most restaurants, which went well with the buttery sauce at the bottom of the plate. Their grilled mixed seafood was delicious, each piece cooked to perfection. The prawn was soft and sweet, the calamari charred wonderfully, and the fish cooked well. Their spaghetti with mixed seafood was just as wonderful, the pasta firm and the sauces from all the seafood (octopus, shrimp, mussels and clam) pooling in the bottom. Don't forget to mix in the cherry tomatoes hanging around separately!Service was friendly and quick. Sitting outside can be a bit cramped but it does give a good view of the sea. I can imagine this place would be great for watching sunsets as well.We can't wait to come back and try the other menu items! We highly recommend this place to anyone staying or visiting Sorrento and who won't mind a short walk to incredibly well-cooked, freshly caught seafood!

Ho cenato ieri sera al ristorante Porta Marina e sono rimasto estremamente colpito da ogni aspetto della mia esperienza.Il ristorante situato a due passi dal mare( Marina Grande di Sorrento) offre un'esperienza culinaria notevole, caratterizzata da cibo a base di pesce di alta qualità e fresco, cortesia impeccabile del personale e una location suggestiva con vista mare, il tutto a prezzi contenuti.Sono stato accolto calorosamente dal personale affabile e professionale, si sono dimostrati estremamente disponibili nell'illustrarmi il menù e suggerire le specialità della casa. La qualità e la freschezza del cibo erano eccezionali.Devo sottolineare anche i prezzi contenuti offerti dal ristorante.Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero eccellente, soprattutto considerando che si tratta di un ristorante situato in una posizione privilegiata.Consiglio di visitare questo ristorante se si desidera vivere una serata speciale a Sorrento.

We had a fantastic time at our dinner! While waiting for our table we were given a glass of wine and all of the staff were so welcoming. We ordered the octopus salad, spaghetti with clams and the lobster pasta. The lobster pasta was my boyfriends favorite meal he has had while we’ve been in Italy. Great experience!

Best seafood we had in Italy! Fresh and delicious, and located right by the water! This is definitely a family owned/operated restaurant and it shows in the excellent service and food! We went there 2 times during our time in Sorrento. Highly recommend!

One of the best family restaurants. Very personal, great food, great view of the sea and vesuv. The service is perfect. If you have to waiting a little, the waiting time will be sweetened with a glass of wine. We went to eat day. Everything tastes very good. It doesn‘t get any fresher. Thank you for the great time, we‘ll be back.

We walked a long way down to the sea level to eat at Porta Marina Seafood. With a beautiful view complimenting the flavorful food, it could not get much better on this extremely hot day. The seafood risotto was well seasoned, but a bit soupy with all the juices from the clams and mussels. I wish it were creamier, but devoured it, nonetheless. My wife's lobster spaghetti was delectable and succulent. It was everything she wanted. Though it looked as though there were only two people taking care of all the tables, we felt taken care of by the two ladies hustling. When I went inside to pay, the open kitchen was bustling with about 8 other people doing prep and knocking of orders. If you are looking for a ristorante on the water that is worth the rating because of food and location, this is it. Highly recommend.

The best dining experience in Sorrento! We had a slight queue to wait for a table, but this was just an opportunity to grab a cold beer from the nearby shop, bask in the early evening sun and enjoy the sounds and sights of the marina. Once we were seated the staff were incredibly attentive, serving us extremely promptly and giving us the full breakdown of the special dishes available from that day's catch. The food was sensational, the wine was excellent, and the value for money could not be beaten compared to other nearby restaurants. An absolute gem of a family run restaurant.

This was an incredible gem! It’s a lovely family restaurant with food that it’s fished by them. Lovely staff with a lovely story behind the restaurant. Of course the prices are not going to be super cheap, for people more on a budget. But we were two students and still managed to eat here for 25€ per person which was okay by me! The price is totally fair for the views, the place and the fresh food that is offered. A must go if you are in the area!
