Acorn House International School Rome

L'unica cosa salvabile è che la scuola è immersa in un parco. Per il resto pessima esperienza. Propone bilinguismo ma i livelli di apprendimento sono al di sotto sia del contesto pubblico (parte italiana) che di quello delle altre scuole internazionali (parte inglese). Costo della retta molto alto (sopra gli 800 euro mese) per l'offerta proposta. Ma la parte peggiore della scuola sta nelle relazioni dei dirigenti con insegnanti e genitori. Ricambio di insegnanti continuo perchè a guardare le facce dei docenti sembra di entrare in un campo di prigionia. Da quel che si percepisce c'è una sorta di clima di terrore e ansia che viene passato poi ai bambini con crisi di pianto degli insegnanti. Il problema è che mi sono accorta di questa cosa troppo tardi e adesso sto faticando con i miei figli per rimettermi in pari con i livelli di scolarizzazione. Ah...si entra come soci...ma non si ha voce in capitolo su nulla...

Sono stato in questa scuola per gli ultimi 10 anni, devo dire che il sistema academico usato in questa struttura mi ha fornito tutti gli strumenti necessari per affrontare la complessa società che oggi ci circonda. Tutto ciò è stato possibile grazie al corpo docenti altamente qualificato che diffonde il loro sapere in modi sempre divertenti e originali. Tuttavia, da quello che ho notato, l’apprendimento degli alunni non avviene solo dentro le classi immerse nella natura. All’interno dell’enorme parco, dove è possibile correre liberi e scatenare la propria immaginazione, i bambini si cimentano nell’ideazione di giochi sempre nuovi che migliorano la loro creatività. Ritornando al sistema accademico però, credo che quello che mi ha veramente dato una spinta in più rispetto ai miei coetanei è l’incredibile difficoltà del programma. Avendo il doppio curriculum riesco ad ottimizzare l’uso del mio tempo e a velocizzare il mio intero processo di apprendimento.

La nostra esperienza è stata veramente positiva. Ci siamo avvicinati per caso a questa struttura per via di nostri amici che già la frequentavano e siamo rimasti colpiti sin dall’inizio dalla bellezza dl posto… Un parco meraviglioso di due ettari dove ancora ricordo nostro figlio piangere, al termine dei colloqui con la direzione, perché non voleva più andare via! Ci siamo iscritti e non ci siamo pentiti perché è stata la prima volta che abbiamo incontrato del personale docente preparato ma soprattutto appassionato. I nostri figli hanno imparato a imparare, attraverso l’entusiasmo e la passione. La scuola è bi-curriculare, e nonostante il numero di ore del curriculum italiano sia ridotto, i risultati degli esami sono stati superiori alla media nazionale. Il costo della retta è la metà di quello delle altre scuole Internazionali. Altamente consigliata

But unfortunately Google doesn't give you this option.As a start, I have to say that I have been attending this school for 11 years and I have not been happier.The organisation and the learning objectives that this school provides are just amazing. It gives you the perfect opportunities to have a wonderful life!About the teachers: they are the most polite and understanding people I know and they're always there for their pupils.The students here are just the best. My classmates are always there with me even when I go through rough times. ( Perfect environment for your children)I have nothing else ti say since everything here Is absolutely perfect.

Bellissima scuola, insegnanti bravissimi e struttura formidabile.

I have attended this school for the past 10 years and I am still learning there to this day, it has given me unforgettable experiences from school plays to school trips to Malta; most importantly, though, it has given me my best friends and the itch for learning. This school is amazing and it really keeps you in touch with nature, unlike some schools which are cement buildings with almost no greenery. Thank you Acorn House for the best 10 years i could possibly imagine!

Questa scuola è fantastica! Gli insegnanti sono molto bravi. Riescono a capire gli alunni e sono sempre disposti ad aiutare in caso di bisogno. Inoltre, la scuola è di dimensioni notevoli. Consiglio assolutamente questo posto meraviglioso.

I attended Acorn House International School for eleven years from nursery to middle school, and looking back, I could not have wished for a better experience. It provided me with an excellent comprehensive education in both English and Italian. From the very beginning, I had the opportunity to learn from English mother-tongue teachers, who enabled me to quickly and naturally absorb the language in the best way possible. Following both the English and Italian curriculums requires hard work and discipline, but in my view it is definitely worth it.All the teachers were fantastic, not only for their abilities and qualifications, but also for the attention they gave to every single student, making sure that no-one was left behind.The school is situated in a healthy environment with lots of outdoor space and fresh air, which is also used to do many sports and social activities. The atmosphere is very positive: once you get to know everyone, it becomes like a big family where knowledge and respect for others form the foundations of school life.I know that the full marks in all subjects that I am currently obtaining in high school are also in part due to the excellent education I had at the Acorn House International School. I think it provides a brilliant start to life. It was sad leaving such a lovely place, but it is always a pleasure for me to pass by from time to time to visit the staff and teachers.

This school is amazing. It has extremely kind and funny teachers and great students. Teachers are always supportive and empathetic towards us, and whenever we have a problem they help us. This school has a really clear and unique ways of teaching and we have many fun activities such as using computers, chrome-books, which we also use in many lessons to look up more information about a topic.
