Excellent funicular with BREATHTAKING views.One adult RETRUN ticket costs 8€ and it is working all day long. The last ride is around 10:30PM. The ride itself lasts a bit more than 8 minutes but it is definitely the best spot to see the whole Pompei city with Vesuvio in the background.Choose days with clear sky for even better experience.

Partiamo da questo punto: dal mare vi porta a 1100 MT (non ricordo la cifra esatta) in qualche minuto e lì cambia totalmente il paesaggio perché sembra di stare in Trentino.Boschi, baite, casette varie.. è una cosa che se non vedete con i vostri occhi non potete capire. Vi lascio qualche foto, un antipasto.

Passeggiare qui è una qualcosa di veramente speciale.Lo sguardo viene catturato da un mare meraviglioso che ti ammalia la mente e il cuore.Bar e ristoranti tipici abbondano lasciando ampia scelta ai visitatori.E sullo sfondo SUA MAESTÀ IL VESUVIO appare imponente in tutto la sua bellezza donando splendide emozioni che solo questa zona italiana può dare!

Bella stazione della funicolare, con esposti alcuni oggetti storici.Permette un rapido accesso al monte Faito, con un costo di 8 euro per l’andata e ritorno.Consigliato per chi vuole un po’ di fresco e nel frattempo vedere il golfo di Napoli

This is a great trip for 8 euros up and down. Do go farther when at the top to get views over coast as well as Napoli. The bottom station is accessed via the train station, not obvious. Toilets are on the train station platform. Car parking is difficult as per this part of Italy. In front of the station is possible as well as a garage at the side, but this was full for us and closed. We got a space at the station luckily enough. The trip was worth it.

Great way to get up the mountain, a return (2 way) ticket was €8 for an adult, and €3 for a junior.With only 8 minutes each way there's hardly enough time to enjoy the spectacular views. At the top there are a few bars/restaurants and plenty of routes to hike.Worth the ticket price just for the views!

Really good fun and cooler at the top. Amazing views across the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Most trips are every 20 minutes.
