Ci siamo fermati in questo locale per un aperitivo e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Carmelo è molto gentile ed ospitale. La vista è super e lo consiglio per vedere un tramonto in prima fila su delle splendide e comode poltrone. Ci tornerò sicuramente

Esperienza da dimenticare, non è giusto fare questo tipo di attività se non si è in grado, approfittando della location sul mare per presentare pasta salatissima e cruda (non al dente ma cruda, e non voglio parlare dei secondi) e pretendere certe cifre, rovinando la giornata ai poveri avventori. probabilmente è un'attività creata per fregare il turista e fare poi dire che in Sicilia si fanno i bidoni!Vergogna cambiate mestiere per il bene pubblico!

Vista sul golfo di Siracusa, servizio fantastico e cibo ottimo. Comode le sedute piacevole l’ambiente. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile, fanno anche specialità fuori menu. Il cous-cous alla carne, consigliato da Donia, era spettacolare, così come l’insalata al gambero rosso. Ingredienti freschissimi! Lo consiglio a chi passa sul lungomare Alfeo!

The food was very good, but my pasta was appetizer size, so I had a Tiramisu and was still hungry. My spritz was served in a tiny glass.On top of that, they charge twice as much as other restaurants in the vicinity for everything including €8 for a 4.5% beer and €4 for cover charge.If money is no object, enjoy the view and the atmosphere. For the rest of us, avoid.

A great great spot - the only one I would go on the lungo-mare out of touristy traps - to enjoy beautiful sunset and great atmosphere. The setting is charming with simplicity, the food is authentic and very-very good (the chef Carmelo owns another restaurant in the island and he is known for his signature cuisine: local fresh and seasonal ingredients and local authentic recipes). A nice wine list and great vibes. what else? A must go if you visit Ortigia!!!!

Ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo, innamorati della vista al momento del tramonto di Ortigia. Servizio curato e attento, ampia scelta di vini e cocktails. Atmosfera romantica a ritmo di jazz. Ci siamo fermati quindi anche per cena e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti, in particolare molto buona la focaccia tuma e acciughe in attesa dei nostri piatti. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Very expensive place for what it offers. Not transparent with the prices, especially with the coperto and dish of the day.The service seemed to be improvised and amatorial, our table was served by four different people, and when we asked about the desserts, the waiter didn't even know them.Total touristic trap, and it's a pity because the place is very beautiful.

I am very glad we didn't read all the negative reviews before we sat down at Sorelle a Mare. The reason we did was Giuseppe's irresistible charisma, and we soon found out that his hospitality is par for the course. We ordered a glass of wine, and he gave us a whole tasting with generous pours from four or five bottles before my wife and I each chose what we liked, and the wines were stellar. We had a light meal of buratta and focaccia, and both were simply fantastic. Giuseppe and his colleagues were treating us like royalty, and it's not like we were going to spend a fortune there. And speaking of the bill, it came to about 40 euros, which was very reasonable for such a location. We left feeling well fed and well taken care of, and I would certainly go back whenever good fortune brings us to Ortigia again!

Locale molto carino vista mare con servizio cortese e disponibile. Le insalate sono molto ricche e fresche. L’acqua al limone e menta offerta all’arrivo è rinfrescante, dissetante e molto benvenuta nelle giornate calde. Offre un ambiente accogliente agli stranieri.
