Silvia Gerzeli Make Up Artist

I had the pleasure of Silvia doing my make up for all three events for my Destination Wedding in Tuscany on 5th - 7th September 2018 - Henna/ Mendhi party (pre-wedding event), Indian Wedding and Western Wedding Reception. At first, I was sceptical as this was an Indian Wedding, however after being introduced by my wedding planner White Emotion and after I had a trial, I was confident in choosing Silvia. I was absolutely in love with every single look she created, they were all different which was fantastic but all so amazing. Silvia respected and listened to my wishes, but also has an amazing creative flare and creates naturally beautiful looks. She went above and beyond my expectations; she was so professional, patient, and put me completely at ease on my wedding day. Not only that, but she is a genuine, lovely and kind person. I would definitely recommend her to any Bride!

Silvia Gerzeli is an extraordinary and talented make up artist. She recently did my bridal makeup and hair as well as my two daughters’ makeup and hair. We were so happy with the outcome. She applied just the right amount of makeup to bring out our features and did not overdo it. She listened to our preferences and took her time to ensure the makeup application was precise and appropriate for the occasion. I noticed that Silvia was on time and completely prepared (her work station was set and ready to go) when it was time for our makeup sessions. Everything in her makeup tool box was organized and clean, which I appreciated. She was very hygienic with her makeup application as well.Silvia communicated well and did everything she said she would do, which is not always the case with others. In fact, she went above and beyond and that showed me that she cares about her clients’ satisfaction. She was real and kind. She reminded me to eat, which sounds silly but I had not thought about it until she said I should eat as it would be a long day. After the ceremony, she stayed to retouch our makeup to ensure our photos would be nice.Silvia is not only a highly-skilled makeup artist/hairstylist/photography stylist, she is also calm, ultra professional and kind. As she is in high demand, I feel so lucky that she was part of our wedding team and helped to make us look our best for my wedding day. I highly recommend Silvia not only for weddings but for any occasion. Silvia is one of the best!

I am so thankful to have had my makeup and hair done by Silvia for my wedding in Florence (late May 2023)! Not only is she very professional, but she is also caring and sweet, which makes it such a pleasure to be around her. She truly listens to what you want and is able to create a look that reflects your personality and style. I remember looking in the mirror and thinking I looked exactly like the bride I wanted to be, which is an amazing feeling! The make-up did not smudge at all, and I just looked fresh the entire time. I also really appreciated the fact that the make-up was not very heavy, and it looked great both during the day and at night. I would definitely recommend Silvia and her team, you will be in great hands!

Con Silvia è stato da subito un lavoro di squadra perfetto. Ho effettuato anche il servizio di prova (stra-consigliato!) per trucco e acconciatura per il matrimonio e Silvia da subito ha capito lo stile che mi piaceva e che mi apparteneva. È molto organizzata e precisa, il giorno del matrimonio mi sono sentita coccolata. Nonostante durante la prova dell’acconciatura avessimo deciso una cosa, last-minute le ho chiesto un cambiamento e lei ha colto al volo quello che intendevo, come dice lei “tu sei la mente e io il braccio”. Non saprei trovare frase più azzeccata. Credo che Silvia sia dotata di una sensibilità particolare, quella di saper leggere alcune caratteristiche interiori ed esprimerle attraverso uno “stile estetico” che è ogni volta diverso per la sposa che si trova di fronte. Inizialmente pensavo che farsi sistemare i capelli e il trucco il giorno del matrimonio non fosse strettamente necessario, ma sono contenta di essermi regalata questa piccola carezza in un giorno così speciale. Grazie ancora per avermi fatta sentire una donna d’altri tempi❤️

Silvia was amazing! She and her team did an incredible job for me and all 6 of my bridesmaids hair and makeup! She was very professional and experienced, great to work with and charged a fair price for her work. I got so many complements from so many people on how well the makeup stayed, wasn’t cakey, and made my blue eyes pop. Highly recommend Silvia for any wedding in Tuscany!

Silvia was my make-up & hair stylist for my tuscan wedding in September 2021 and she was amazing! For me it was very important to have natural make-up and Silvia really listened to my wishes and I was super happy with the outcome. Silvia and her team did an excellent job,she was absolutely reliable and always available throughout the whole process, starting from our inquiry with her, through the trial and the rehearsal dinner up and until the wedding day itself.She not only made our bride look stunning and feel confident but her team also styled 12 wedding guests.Silvia also brought some calmness to the event with her gentle spirit.We are very satisfied with her work and can highly recommend her!

Hear me out, brides out there: Silvia is M A G I C A L. I never thought I could feel so beautiful! In addition of being extremely talented, she is fun, highly professional, and attentive.We discussed together what I was looking for and she understood immediately my style. She listened to my preferences yet adding her own experienced touch, which was exactly what I needed for a WOW effect. I was already in love during my trial, but on the wedding day… I mean, she did an insane job and produced a produced a stunning, absolutely flawless makeup + a fairy hairstyle that lasted all day, despite the abnormal heat of 2022 Tuscan summer. I have seen several brides with great yet very heavy makeup, but not with Silvia: my skin was so smooth and silky, it looked like it was still my skin, but just a perfect, blemish-free version. No creasing under eyes and no mascara running, I didn't even know that was possible to go a whole night without having at least one of the two happen. Also, not only is Silvia’s style so refined and gorgeous, but her presence is also such a wonderful addition to the getting ready process. She is professional, calm, warm, and so easy to talk to.I was absolutely thrilled with my look and practically every girl at my wedding is now begging me for her number Highly recommended!

I got married an hour outside Florence in May 2022. Our wedding planner gave me 5 or so MUAs to choose from. After evaluating everyone I chose Silvia because her pricing was reasonable, her work looked natural and she seemed to be very passionate about what she does. Because we were traveling to Italy from the US for the wedding, I did my trial run a few days before in her studio in Florence. She was SO kind and understanding (even after I got the day wrong and was a half hour late — too much pizza making my brain foggy!). Her studio was reasonably easy to get to in Florence (although I wish it was a little more air conditioned, but that’s just Italy overall).She listened to what I wanted and was just so easy going. On the day, I can’t express how amazing she was. She was honestly like a bridesmaid — she was always in my corner when people were trying to pull me in all directions and she could tell I was a little nervous and really helped me feel relaxed.She also made me GLOW! Overall I’m so happy with my choice.
