Worth walking outside the walls and across the railway to find Il Mio Piccolo Forno. Everything tasted was excellent, especially walnut focaccia. (Note: walnut focaccia only baked on Wednesdays).

This local forno is so great. We tried a few in and around the wall of Lucca and this one was the best. The products are of the best quality and so tasty. Also the prices are really nice because this is the forno the locals go to.They didn't speak English at all but went the extra mile when trying to communicate with us. On request they made this perfect chocolate cake which was the best. Thank you!We highly recommend you go here!
