Lake Como Weddings and Events

Aurora helped us planned a perfect wedding day at villa Balbianello/Lake Como area in the fall 2021. She did a fantastic job on all important things :1) responsiveness was just the perfect balance of responding promptly and extensively to all our questions and requests but letting us take our time when we were slow in making decisions 2) execution was completely flawless, everything went according to schedule and at no point during the wedding did we have to think about how the next element of the wedding will flow through. Guests were magically situated at their seats for the ceremony and for dinner, the musicians were perfectly synched with our friend who sang at the reception despite only having few minutes to practice, all the boats that took us and the guests back and forth from the venue appeared on time, she had phoned the hotel we were staying ahead of time to let them know it was our wedding so they made us feel extra special, for the day of the wedding she had 3 point coverage, while she spent the day morning at the venue making sure everything is flawless, she had left an assistant with each of us, bride and groom to make sure we run on schedule 3) knowledge & style - we live in the US and had to plan a wedding during travel restriction so were not able to see in person any of the vendors & services we selected. But turns out we had nothing to worry about because every vendor or service she suggested or helped us select came out above our expectation on tastefulness, execution and attitude. 4) passion & personality - that's probably the best part. Aurora is a genuinely wonderful person who loves what she does, has a great taste and a radiant personality that makes you feel comfortable immediately. She is super detail oriented so don't worry about her forgetting one of the little details you care about but is also fun - we saw her dancing along and genuinely enjoying our wedding as much as any of our guests. So all-in-all, we would rank her 10/10 and wholeheartedly recommend her for everyone's special day. Thank you Aurora!

It has been about 2 months since my magical wedding in Lake Como took place. I was very thankful that i have hired Aurora as my wedding planner. Planning a destination wedding for me was a tough challenge but having Aurora make my dream come true was the best decision that my partner and I have made.Not only she planned our wedding but she planned it in a period of 2 months ONLY (She's a pro) ! She was very responsive to all my emails and was extremely friendly and helpful. She tried to stick within our budget but still gave us a dream wedding in lake como. She took care of the smallest details and if she thinks something is necessary to be added she will mention it and try to make it happen.Aurora now is my friend not just my once was wedding planner. I wish this review allowed more than a five star rating because Aurora deserves 10 stars! Over the course of four years, and 4000 miles away, Aurora arranged every detail of the most magical wedding one could imagine. The day was truly flawless! There was never a request that was too big or a hurdle too impossible to overcome. She is aligned with the premier vendors and every suggestion she made was spot-on. Aurora’s organizational skills are only matched by her infectious personality and great sense of style. We were so lucky to have partnered with Aurora and you will be too!

Where to start..... We were blown away by Lake Como weddings and Aurora's organisation, planning, attention to detail and her no fuss attitude to making our special day as relaxed as possible. Aurora is simply incredible. Aurora at Lake Como Weddings and Events is the ideal planner and coordinator for your big day! We cannot say enough good things about her! My husband and I hosted an intimate destination wedding in Laglio on Lake Como, and we are both from the United States. All our guests were coming from abroad, as well. Even during COVID times, Aurora's professionalism, support, creativity, positivity, and grace never wavered. I had SO many ideas for our wedding weekend, and we spent well over a year planning together. She was available on a daily basis for over a year for us! Aurora was able to see my vision perfectly and bring it to life and interpret our every need. Nothing was impossible or out of reach to her! We hosted three days of events around the Lake, and Aurora perfected each one of them. It is obvious that she is highly respected and regarded by the top vendors and venues around the Lake. Her caring, kind, and sweet personality shines through in every communication and every detail of her thoughtful and meticulous planning. Our three-day wedding celebration was perfect, and it would not have been the same without her. Not to mention, she went above and beyond for us AND our guests - even helping to schedule transportation, boat tours, reservations, train tickets, and more before AND after our wedding weekend! Everybody who attended our wedding said it was the most beautiful and elegant wedding they had ever seen, and everyone had rave reviews for Aurora! Aurora assisted my now husband and I with our wedding in May at Villa Geno and a rehearsal dinner at Figli Dei Fiori. We could not have been more thrilled to have worked with Aurora. From the very beginning she toured my mom and I around to different villas to get a feel for what a wedding in Lake Como would be like before we even hired her! Once we decided to officially go for a wedding in Lake Como she helped us craft a realistic budget and was very respectful of sticking to it. She was super helpful in negotiating with our rehearsal dinner venue and was also very helpful when we came back to Como again for our reception dinner tasting. I really appreciated Aurora's opinion and felt comfortable leaving several decisions up to her to decide based on her expertise. We couldn't have done it without her and she truly made our day everything we imagined and more. Being able to enjoy the day without any stress was unbelievable and she really made things go super smooth. We can't thank her enough!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Aurora. My fiance and I are from the US and decided to do a destination wedding in Lake Como, Italy. Aurora came highly suggested by one of the venues we were interested in doing our wedding at, so we reached out to her about planning our wedding. From the beginning, Aurora was always so sweet, responded quickly, answered our many questions thoroughly, and truly took care of every aspect of planning our wedding. We truly did not have to worry about a thing! We only were in contact with her which helped keep communication between vendors/us clear. She always gave us options (just enough so it was not overwhelming), and had wonderful suggestions/recommendations for vendors, etc. Our beautiful wedding at Aura Del Lago would not have been possible without her.We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding because of Covid travel restrictions and she made the changing of dates seamless. When we finally arrived in October 2021, Aurora was with us every step of the way from giving food recommendations, arranging transportation for us and our guests, being with me during my hair and makeup trial, helping execute our rehearsal dinner, and of course execute our wedding day. Anything we needed or asked for, she was there! Our wedding day could not have been any more beautiful and perfect and we give all our thanks and praise to Aurora for making that dream come true. I HIGHLY suggest you use her if planning your wedding in Lake Como, her professionalism and knowledge of the area is spectacular. We will forever hold Aurora near to our hearts. Aurora is amazing! We started looking for a wedding planner last Oct after we decided to have our wedding at Lake Como. We are so so glad that we found her! Aurora really understood what we want and gave us wonderful suggestions for accommodations, logistics, decorations, etc. She was also extremely responsive. She usually replied our emails within a day or two. The whole planning process was a breeze thanks to her. We changed our mind countless times. Aurora listened to all our requests and did all she could to make things happen. Believe it or not, having a destination wedding at Lake Como does not necessarily break the bank. Aurora was able to keep things under our budget and was able to come up with solutions for things that we thought were out of our budget.If you are looking for a planner to organize your wedding in Lake Como, look no further!
