She helped our group appreciate the amazing feats of the Etruscans as well as celebrates the spirit of this city's current residents. I especially appreciated her personal anecdote about her husband's aunt's participation in saving the last remaining Etruscan gate from destruction by the fleeing German army in a daring overnight exploit.

Annie brought Volterra to life with wonderful stories and history of this ancient city. Her guide is a perfect balance of history, architecture, arts, people and clear love for this quaint place.
