A highlight of my trip for sure! A beautiful family farm-that’s been in Giacomo’s family for 7 generations and you can tell the house has amazing history and a sense of family. Learned how to make some amazing pasta and tiramisu and I left full and with a smile on my face.

We had a wonderful time with Giacomo and Cristiana. Loved their philosophy to cooking- your food is only as good as your ingredients. Learned to make 2 different pastas and tiramisu, which we have been able to replicate at home. And the wine pairings were great. One of the highlights of our Italian adventure!

My 2 grown up kids and I enjoyed a very inspirational cooking. It was really a pleasure to see both the skill in cooking and the passion and dedication for the use of high quality food products in order to make the just right Italian dishes. We could feel the passion and love for Italy and the culture of producing high quality food and wine – indeed an unforgettable experience and something which is highly recommendable!Thank you for giving us an insight into the wonderful Italian cuisine!

Tuscan Cooking Classes by le Caggiole
This class is one of my favorite Tuscan experiences. The food and wine was absolutely delicious but what sets this class above the rest is all of the additional tips provided. The class was setup using local food sources yet Giacomo talked through options for finding ingredients in our home country and how to find good quality items as well. He never just told us what to do but instead how and why we were doing every step. I loved that the menu items all worked together and that Giacomo showed us how to combine steps to make preparations easy so that when entertaining, the cook has time to spend with the guests. If you enjoy good food paired with good wine, this is the class for you. There is no need to be an experienced cook but if you are, you will still learn many good tips.

Tuscan Cooking Classes by le Caggiole
Our cooking class with Giacomo and Christiana was without a doubt a highlight of our two week trip through Italy. It was such a hands on experience and extremely educational. I loved the passion that was shared along with all the tips - simple, fresh, quality ingredients as well as straightforward recipes. Instead of walking away overwhelmed I felt inspired to try to make my own pasta at home. Giacomo also being a sommelier brought great knowledge around how to pair wine with your food and we got to enjoy some great wine. The meal we had there was without a doubt the best food we had while in Italy.In addition after the class we realized the following day was Republic Day and many businesses were closed. I had been craving an authentic, non commercial wine tasting experience while in Tuscany and not only did Giacomo make a recommendation, he reached out and got us hooked up with a lunch as well and passed along contact information which was absolutely going the extra mile and he was so invested in our overall experience while in Montepulciano. It was the 2nd best meal we had in Italy.I would do the class over and over again - it was so much fun and so delicious and it is run by world class people. Thank you again - such a blast.

We enjoyed an amazing experience with Giacomo and his family. From his warm welcome at his beautiful home to his passion for food, we learned so much about how he approaches Tuscan cooking and wine pairing. He combined fresh ingredients to creates amazing food that doesn’t overwhelm you. The meal he prepared (with our help) was exceptional. It was the perfect blend of learning, cooking, and tasting. We can’t wait to get home to try what we learned. This was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Highly recommended!

Hands down....other than the wonderful landmarks and scenery Italy has to offer, this was the best and most memorable part of our trip! Giacomo is so passionate about sharing his knowledge and takes you through every step with history, information and background on the dish.If you are looking for a class to goof around and take lots of pictures, this isn't for you. We knew we wanted to do a cooking class while in Italy and wanted to get the fullest experience we could...and we did. It is located in the countryside with a beautiful view. He takes his cooking and wine knowledge very seriously and does take pictures of the students throughout the process. He keeps his classes small to ensure we're all learning as much as we can.We will recommend his class in particular to anyone traveling in the area. Many thanks again Giacomo!!

Tuscan Cooking Classes by le Caggiole
We had a lovely experience with Giacomo in the cooking class. From our welcome into their beautiful farm, to how intentionally the cooking space had been set up for us, it was clear how much he had thought through the whole experience. We learned how to make two delicious types of fresh pasta & tiramisu (and got to eat the dishes we had prepared at the end). In addition to the actual cooking instruction (which was truly expert), we received so much information on the importance of ingredients, cooking with the seasons, and even some stories about Giacomo’s grandmother & family cooking traditions. At the end of the class, we were served our pastas with delicious freshly-made sauce by Giacomo and his family (who were helping throughout the class), along with some beautifully paired wines for each course. Another nice touch was that Giacomo took photos of us throughout the class and sent us these photos afterwards, allowing us to focus entirely on the class without having to capture the moment. We thoroughly enjoyed the class and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience something fun, informative, and special. Giacomo is a true professional and has so much knowledge to share in this cooking experience.

Tuscan Cooking Classes by le Caggiole
This was a wonderful experience, for both experienced and novice cooks, set in a beautiful, rustic kitchen on a lovely farm. Giacomo and Cristiana were so warm, inviting, professional, patient and passionate about their cooking! I have never liked gnocchi, mainly because of the gummy texture. I LOVED the gnocchi we made! Giacomo was not only a great cook, but also a scientist, explaining the purpose of adding certain ingredients at various stages of cooking, what to look for to select the best quality ingredients, and showing us simple, efficient cooking techniques. I went back to our villa and wrote up 4 pages of notes afterward! Giacomo sent me wonderful photos of my experience, as well as very detailed, easy to follow recipes. I highly recommend this class!
