Giorgio... he was the the absolute best.My fiance and I did a custom tour through Chianti with Giorgio. Not only was he incredibly friendly and funny, but he filled us with as much knowledge as we wanted. Having been in the restaurant industry and trained as a sommelier, he had a deep knowledge of the region and the wines we were trying from each winery. We made the mistake of not having reservations at a couple of the wineries, but that did not stop Giorgio from going to bat for us.He made sure that we were welcomed with open arms at each place and that we got the most out of each stop. He would communicate with the managers and owners and explain to them exactly what we wanted to do and boom-- everything was perfect. He did not pressure us in any way, which was so nice to see from a tour guide.At the end of the tour, he was explaining to us why he loved his job and that he hopes that his presence can add a little bit more to someone's experience in Italy. That is exactly what he did-- he made our experience 100 times better. The passion and the care was unmatched. My fiance and I jokingly called him our Italian Grandfather" the rest of the trip because of how much we enjoyed our day with him.As far as the company itself

As a Resident of Florence I have a lot of visitors from the UK who want to share my love of Tuscany and having found Tuscany Car Tours in 2009, and better still finding them to be good, I now use them regularly when I organise wine trips to Chianti or Garden Tours in Florence or Val D'Orcia.I have found Filippo and his team to be always punctual, happy to go beyond the average tour and consistently able to make suggestions to make our experience even more interesting without going outside our originally quoted price.I am pleased to be able to highly recommend their services.

I can’t say enough great things about Filippo. He is a most patient man who answered all of my questions…for three years! The trip planning started before COVID and wasn’t able to take place until the summer of 2022! He helped me design an itinerary that allowed us to see quite a bit, but never felt rushed. His drivers showed up on time, entertained and educated us while we drove, and dropped us safely at our destinations. His driving service made it possible for our group of eight to see small villages in Tuscany that we couldn’t reach by public transportation, plus we could all enjoy the wine at each stop because we had a trustworthy driver who knew where he was going. We were very well taken care of with Tuscany Car Tours, and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Felt very safe with Giorgio who drove us from Florence to Monterosso in a winding road and rainy with great views. We also stopped in Pisa and Lucca and Giorgio took care of us. He’s passionate and you can tell that he loves his country and his work. Master who didn't use GPS to find our air bnb. He knows history and he knows where everything is. He was on time… comfortable clean van.

From the very first email to Filippo to our final day tour with Beki, the service was nothing short of terrific. Filippo was swift to respond and not pushy at all. We had a few changes to our bookings and he was always accommodating. The driver who collected us from Florence airport had to wait over an hour since our bags were lost and couldn't have been nicer. Beki, our driver for our final tour of Siena and drop off in Florence was informative, thoughtful and helpful. I highly recommend this company. Pricing is a little bit expensive for the day tour in my opinion but the service second to none so not complaining!

Had a wonderful experience with this tour. Filippo was great in suggesting a wonderful itinerary and took good care of us. We were two adults and two kids, traveling from USA. We compare shopped before and found his pricing to be competitive. The van was clean and comfortable. We took a private 8 hr tour. His choice of the lunch place at a winery was great and unique. He is local, so very knowledgeable in the places we visited. I would use them again if in the area and also highly recommend..

Thanks to Filippo, Andrea, Giorgio and Eduardo! We had two day trips while in Tuscany and they took great care of us. The price was good and I can't say enough about the professionalism and fun of all the drivers we had.
