I didn't stay in the guesthouse, I only visited the adjacent open-air bar a couple of times:it is The place in Mallnitz to relax after a hike. There are free potato chips, a trampoline for kids, good music, relatively inexpensive drinks. A very charming waitress, so friendly to my daughter. Only later I found out, completely by chance, we were served directly by the owner, who is apparently a former Dutch trance/pop star ;))

Honestly in the top 3 of our hotel stays...EVER. The owners are so friendly and you can tell they work super hard all hours of the day to keep the place clean and full of warmth/joy. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic! The beer garden with live music and events was also awesome. We will be telling all of our friends to visit and we cannot wait to return!
