Cinque Terre Riviera

Litorale stupendo, percorrere la riviera a piedi è il modo migliore per godersi il panorama, tutte le cinque terre e per fuggire dai molti turisti che affollano i piccoli borghi in alta stagione

Visited in November, lovely place even out of season. Take the train and hop in and off all day long!

siamo rimasti un po' delusi, perché arrivati di proposito dalla Toscana , per poter visitare le cinque terre, una volta arrivati a Vernazza, c'è da sottolineare che le strade sono strette e tutte curve, non abbiamo trovato parcheggio, talmente era affollata, (ponte primo maggio), dò comunque 5 stelle perché il paesaggio è stupendo e spero di poterci tornare in giorni feriali per poter visitare come si deve questa zona.

We Visit this place in a covid time and we are Lucky that was not so much tourist. It was worthy. I really love the color of the Place coz its really Unique. Really recommended. Cinque terre

Tra i 5 borghi della Cinque Terre, Vernazza è quello più caratteristico, più noto e visitato di tutti. Non esiste una vera e propria classifica e ogni borgo è una storia a sé. Ma questo Borgo della Liguria è indubbiamente un luogo da visitare almeno una volta nella vita.Tra i paesi delle Cinque Terre, Vernazza è l’unico ad essere annoverato tra i “Borghi più belli d’Italia” in compagnia di molti altri posti meravigliosi della Liguria. Nello stesso modo, quando si parla dell’Italia a livello internazionale, Vernazza è spesso menzionata tra le meraviglie da non perdere durante un viaggio nel Bel Paese.La vita di questa località di mare si raccoglie intorno all’elegante piazzetta a ridosso del porticciolo e a via Roma, l’unica vera via principale che collega la stazione ferroviaria. Tutt’intorno una confusa serie di carruggi e vicoletti tipici dei borghi della Liguria che nascondono dettagli da fotografare oltre ad un fascino e una storia millenaria.Al celebre porticciolo di Vernazza, alla chiesa e al castello fortificato, fanno da cornice le inconfondibili case-torri dai colori pastello di questa porzione di Liguria.

Posti meravigliosi da visitare con treno o traghetto. Peccato per la via dell'amore chiusa per frane e zone pericolanti, altrimenti sarebbe stato il top. Per famiglie consiglio treno ci biglietto famiglia giornaliero a 42€ (due adulti e 2 bambini fino a 12 anni) permette di godersi tutte le tappe in scioltezza.

Monterosso is the largest of the five coastal villages collectively known as the Cinque Terre. The village is located on hills cultivated with vines and olives. The vegetation surrounds the built-up area like an embrace; its amazing beaches, its beautiful reefs and the sea’s crystal clear waters make this small village one of the most hospitable of the Ligurian Riviera.The village is divided in two parts marked by the medieval tower of Aurora. The new part of town, Fegina, is full of life, it is the reflection of an area that tourism has made rich, as the great quantity and excellent quality of hotels and restaurants give evidence.Fegina is dominated by the famous concrete statue of the Giant, built beside the terrace of a local villa. This statue was created at the beginning of the XX century by Levacher and Minerbi, an architect and a sculptor, and represents Neptune, the god of the sea. Now it has become the symbol of Monterosso.The old town of Monterosso is dominated by the ruins of the castle and characterized by typical narrow medieval streets carruggi with multi-coloured terraced houses. The beach is the only extensive sand beach in the Cinque Terre and runs along most of the coast line and is well used by tourists and locals.

We had a wonderful experience with Cinqueterre Riviera. We rented a room from them in Vernazza and it was just sublime. The view from the terrace is gorgeous. The rental was immaculately clean. Marco, who greeted us at the front desk, was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. He gave us recommendations and showed us to our apartment. There are strict rules about sorting your garbage properly, using extra linens, and doing your dishes before leaving, but those rules are not prohibitive and they are in place with the environment in mind which I super appreciate. They are very eco-conscious in Cinqueterre. Our room had wifi. We came during May, right at the beginning of the tourist season, and it was busy but not overcrowded.
