Horrible, horrible company. They have multiple different companies running under the Trenitalia brand and use this as a way to scam tourists. We bought tickets for an express train, however due to the ticket machine malfunctioning we ended up missing and hopped on another (slower) express train. Because of this they fined us 64 euro each even though the tickets we bought were MORE expensive than the ones for that train. The conductor then told us we could go to the ticket office and dispute it which turned out to be a complete lie.I would honestly rather walk next time.

Got tickets online very easily. Ticket scanning was flawless with no issues.Smooth quiet travelling, departed and arrived on time without stops. It is expensive but quite fair for what it offers. It also has storage for big bags. Definitely the best and more relaxed way to get to the airport without the stress of the other types of transportation. All good, no complains :)

Incompetent company. The most user unfriendly website. I cannot buy any selected international tickets. The client service is ignoring your messages for 15 minutes and then they close the ticket. Call you back" service doesn't work on international numbers. Apparently

Bought first class tickets on the Frecciarossa as a treat for my other half’s birthday. I was sold on the leather seats and onboard welcome drink and snack with onboard bar. What a joke! The carriage was packed and loud. We got a warm bottle of water and a bag of crisps. The bar only had 2 choices of strange IPA type beer. Not worth paying the extra for a short trip. On the plus side the train was on time and fast.

As a tourist from a foreign country, I had nothing but trouble after using Trenitalia services for the first time on the Venezia S. Lucia - Venezia Mestre route 5 days ago.Although I had a bought ticket, as a tourist from Poland I did not know, and I was not informed that before traveling by train, the ticket must be validated in the validator. I explained everything to the conductor, instead of being kinder to a foreign tourist traveling for the first time by train in Italy, he fined me 50 euros for not validating the ticket, then he checked my ID, took my ticket and I still have no idea what he needed it for. The lady at the counter suggested me to write a complaint on the Trenitalia website, and the website itself leaves much to be desired. In the event of a complaint, they require the ticket number and ask for the train agent" after which the complaint is rejected and an error pops up. On our Polish railways

19/06/2023 Napoli - Rome 10:55 - 12:05On leaving the train at Rome, we realised we had left our bag on the train with our passports and some items of great sentimental value.We spoke to a TrainItalia representative who promptly called the train, which was by now heading to Milan. Our bag was returned to us within 6 hours, which was an exceptional effort. Nothing in the bag had been taken.A big thank you to all that helped us today. You saved us a world of pain.Grazie mille.

My friend's mother is 86 and uses a wheelchair. She had to try to board a Trenitalia train without the chair because they did not have wheelchair access, and staff completely ignored our requests for assistance. She fell and injured herself. No one with Trenitalia cared. They are more concerned with being fast. I am disgusted with the lack of service and complete disrespect this company has for disabled people. If you know a good attorney, please let me know.

Uno schifo infinito. Ho perso la coincidenza per colpa LORO, perché il treno ha fatto un’ora di ritardo, così come aveva fatto anche all’andata. Sul cartellone delle partenze di 6 treni 4 erano in notevole ritardo. Ma se chiedi il rimborso per la coincidenza persa trovano ogni scusa per non dartelo. Senza contare l’aria condizionata non funzionante il 29 Luglio. Era come viaggiare su un carro bestiame. Qualcuno poteva sentirsi male. Zero rispetto delle persone. Dire che fanno schifo non esprime nemmeno l’idea. E non si è visto un solo membro del personale ne all’andata ne al ritorno. Zero. Manco hanno controllato i biglietti. Visto il servizio schifoso a saperlo non lo facevo proprio. Siete proprio la giusta compagnia ferroviaria per questo paese.

A super nice experience was traveling through part of Italy on Trenitalia. If you travel in business class, you will have drinks, snacks, relatively stable internet and a comfortable seat. I was able to go from Rome to Venice, Florence, Rome and my experience was very good. If I remember correctly, for only +- €150 you can do this entire route in business class.

Vergognoso il servizio. Mai una volta che arrivi in orario. Treni con personale spesso non qualificato e maleducato. Problemi sulla linea ferroviaria degne di un paese in via di sviluppo. Treni costosi e poco puliti.Io mi chiedo, come è possibile che l’Italia sia ancora parte del G7.
