Spiaggia di Corniglia

Warm, clean water, quiet and peaceful. Similar to Vernazza, a pier and a ladder for jumping. The stairs down chase away the crowds, ideal for sunsets and quiet days.

Great spot for a swim - went there twice - early morning and late evening while staying in corniglia. Down quite a lot of steps (not difficult, but similar to the way from train to village) so you probably will only want to go if you a planning on spending some time down there. A couple of nice viewpoints on the way down and great view across to the hills behind Monterosso from the marina.

I also don’t recommend doing this unless you really want to walk down 500 steps to see what is at the bottom. And what there is is a slippery concrete slab to get into the sea. There is one beautiful viewpoint of the town of Corniglia. And the swimming is very refreshing- but watch the swells
