Hostel California

Pessima attenzione da parte della persona che rimane di notte. Tratta tutti molto male, non si può chiedere nulla perché dice NO a tutto.Non mi hanno permesso di prendere il mio cibo anche se erano già le 8 del mattino e dovevo andarmene. Non ti danno niente di quello che c'è scritto sulla confezione, non so perché pago di più. Inoltre non ti danno un lucchetto per tenere le tue cose personali.Non dormirete di sicuro.Niente di quello che si vede nelle foto è reale.

HORRIBLE! Please don’t stay here. I have never seen such rude staff in my life! These guys deserve JAIL! They will chatge you extra when you arrive because they know you can’t get your money back anyway. City tax is 3,40 but they charged me 10,40 instead and when I asked why he raised his voice and said “YOU PAY TEN FOURTY NOW!!!”. The police should close this place. Some beds are broken, you literally wake up on the floor. Avoid at all costs!

Chosen as it was a cheaper price than other hostels, but unfortunately the quality reflected this.+ The Egyptian guy at reception was very helpful and friendly+ the showers were consistently hot- Beds were uncomfortable, rooms and bathrooms were always dirty- Apart from one exception general staff were not particularly friendly/welcoming- hostel felt unsafe, my toothpaste and towel were stolen.- general lack of care for the hostel and the guest experience

Arrivati a mezzanotte in emergenza dopo che un'altra struttura ci ha paccato, siamo rimasti estasiati. Accoglienza da paura con pagamenti in nero, e addirittura risparmio sulle chiavi, la nostra stanza era aperta e non ci è stata data la chiave. Ma per fortuna c'era un letto come bloccaporta! Stupendo. Risparmio anche sulle coperte, due coperte per 6 letti. L'intrattenimento non manca, addirittura alle 4 di notte dei simpatici signori hanno provato a entrare in camera molteplici volte per porgerci un saluto" peccato che il bloccaporta multiuso ha impedito loro di entrare.Cavi sospetti pendono dalle pareti.Ma ehy! Le scale sono un tocco di colore che ti rallegrano la giornata!"

I do not recommend staying here. The staff were incredibly rude.. I’ve never experienced staff like this before. Only two bathrooms for all rooms and only 1 out of two had a working lock on the door. I was taking a shower and a girl just walked in to brush her teeth. The beds were covered in plastic and you don’t get a top sheet or anything. No hand soap or toilet paper in the bathrooms either.The wifi doesn’t work either.The kitchen is apparently open from 8am however when I tried to get my water and food from the fridge (which I specially bought for a day trip) before catching an early train, I couldn’t get into the kitchen because no one had come to unlock it. There were no staff around anywhere so I waited for half an hour and eventually gave up and just left. You also have to wait to be buzzed in to the hostel every time you go out which is very odd.I almost got scammed when the staff failed to give me change for a 50 euro note (after paying the tourist city tax) and I had to chase up and insist for it back.Luckily I felt comfortable in my room as there were only women staying there. But I met two young men who didn’t feel safe.It’s a budget hostel and didn’t cost much but it reflects in what you get for it.

❗This is my first review ever and it is to tell you that you should avoid this place at all cost❗I'm honestly surprised that this place is still operating and the police hasn't shut it down yet. One staff member was constantly yelling at me in a language I didn't understand and then took my food without asking me. The rooms were unbearably hot, the common area was even worse. The Kitchen" had pretty much no equipment

I thought that something big would happen with a one-night stay. But my wife and I couldn't sleep for a minute. I caught at least 60 bed bugs like the one pictured above on my bed. The bed bugs bit me all over my body and I took medication and ointment for a week.During the night, a drunken man took off his clothes from the next room and walked around my room. When I asked for help from the night male staff at the accommodation, the staff treated me with very rude words and actions. Even if I told the hostel about my exhausted body and mind, there would be absolutely no compensation.I think the city of Milan should do a fact-finding on this hostel and revoke the permit, and I think we travelers should never go there either.

Ma le autorita' non fanno niente per questo posto fatiscente?E' 1 indecenza per le persone che lavorano onestamente.... facciamo tutti insieme 1 esposto per far chiudere questo posto indegno?inviata come promesso segnalazione con raccomandata al servizio d'igiene.Mi assicurero' presentando min di persona che sia presa in carico la pratica... e' 1 indecenza.
