RITTERKELLER RESTAURANT PIZZERIA AREA-CAMPER

Area di sosta un po' cara, ma comoda per raggiungere a piedi la pista da sci, durante il nostro soggiorno non c'era tanta neve quindi la viabilità era agevole. No docce, no bagni, no area per lavare stoviglie, corrente esclusa dal prezzo base (non menzionato nel sito). Personale gentile e disponibile, cucina del ristorante buona e abbondante.. panorama bellissimo!

La location è molto bella sia come panorama sia come struttura. Il personale è molto gentile.Le pizze a detta delle persone che erano al tavolo con me erano molto buone così come la tagliata. Lo stinco sicuramente abbondante e ben impiattato, ma un po' poco saporito.

Abbiamo scelto questo locale incuriositi dall’edificio tradizionale ben visibile dalla strada e dalle buone recensioni. Anche all’interno è molto bello, con soffitti in legno e arredamento tirolese, più un’atmosfera che ti fa sentire a casa grazie alla cortesia del personale. Nonostante sia molto rinomato come pizzeria, invece della pizza (che in effetti aveva un aspetto meraviglioso e di cui sentivamo altri ospiti decantarne la bontà) abbiamo scelto di assaggiare piatti tipici altoatesini: canederli in brodo e canederli con i funghi (gallinacci), buonissimi e con porzioni abbondanti. Purtroppo non ho scattato le foto perché avevamo fame ed erano così invitanti, che li abbiamo subito iniziati a mangiare! Molto buono anche il tiramisù e lo strudel di mele. Inoltre rispetto agli altri locali della zona anche la qualità prezzo è ottima. Consigliato!

Lovely local restaurant with a big variety of pizza selection and local food. Calm atmosphere and very kind and fast service. Have visited them several times durring the ski holidays and will definitively return.

Piacevole sorpresa. Ristorante con arredamento in legno molto bello. Prezzi in linea ma piatti molto gustosi al contrario di altri ristoranti della zona che sembrano aver abdicato a sapori poco casalinghi". Ottimo lo spezzatino di capriolo. Tempi di attesa forse un po' lunghi."

Posto in splendida posizione panoramica, ristorante e pizzeria con ottimi piatti e personale disponibile e cordiale,. Merita di farci almeno qualche giorno.

Ritterkeller parking area can host about 120 campervans.This parking area is excellent for those who want to ski in Plan de Corones given that it is about 100 meters from the Miara gondola cableway (i.e. the main one in S. Vigilio). The ski slope is even closer, because from the parking area there is a snow-covered trail  - about 80 meters long - that is grafted into the final part of the Miara slope. Therefore, in the peak season (when there is snow, as I personally experienced in January 2018) you put the skis directly outside the campervan and go to the gondola skiing.The parking area is very sunny and, therefore, during the sunny days it is possible to turn off the heating of the campervan even in full winter.To reach the parking area there is a fairly steep climb almost 100 meters long, but it is possible to reach it with winter tires without use of chains.Being a parking equipped area, the managers only provide electricity, water and drainage.As far as electricity is concerned, the regulation states that electric heaters cannot be used; I have not tried to connect the electric heaters because I have a diesel heater, but nearby campers have confirmed that the plug has no power for devices with more than 1000 W.Due to the fact that this is not a camping, but a parking area no facilities such as bathrooms, showers, ski room, etc are available. This circumstance may be very uncomfortable for campers with children, as they do not know where to leave the (wet) winter clothes overnight. I have three small children and I solved the problem by renting a heated three-seater locker in the ski depot located at the groundfloor of the Miare gondola facility, at a price of € 44 for 4 days.Another problem that scared me when I booked the parking equipped area was the water supply. In fact, for long stops in general I prefer campsites because of the convenience of using toilets, bathrooms, showers; in short, all those services that require water. I was therefore afraid of being without water; but this did not occur because the managers made available a waterspout several hundred meters long to fill the tanks without having to move the campervans.The center of San Vigilio can be reached with a 10-15 minute walk along a quite busy road.The managers, on request, issue the weekly card to use free public transport throughout South Tyrol, including the ski bus (Holiday Pass Premium).The owners of the equipped area also manage a bar-restaurant-pizzeria, where it is also possible to book bread and croissants for the morning.During Christmas Holiday 2018, I paid € 30/day for 5 people.

Si mangia bene ed i prezzi sono in linea con la zona. Il locale è in legno e caratteristico. Le pizze erano buone. Unica nota leggermente stonata è la poca empatia di quella che credo sia la proprietaria, inizialmente molto ostica ma nella parte finale più tranquilla.

Area in zona panoramica. Ampia, con svariate colonnine per la corrente e possibilità di carico e scarico acqua.Comodissima agli impianti da sci, meno al centro paese che dista circa 700 metri (ritorno in salita).
