Americans should frequent another establishment.On my trip to Castelmola, attempted to break change for a parking permit in the local village. I asked 8 employees for the possibility of converting paper euro to change. Ten euro worth. Eventually was told the entire restaurant had no change.It was obvious the employees themselves felt bad, but were told by their boss not to break change.Unknown to the boss, a large unsightly character who doubled as a cook, I spoke Italian as well and understood his instructions. When the employees asked permission to break change for me, he stated to them, do you not have tables to wait on? Are you not busy?Sad behavior.Good luck to him and his establishment

Per la mia esperienza devo dire molto negativa non per il cibo ma solo per il senso di rispetto, avevamo ordinato delle pizze ,ci siamo sediuti alle 20:45 e sono arrivate alle 23:15 , da premettere che 15 minuti dopo era arrivata un’altra tavolata con la quale sono stati serviti prima di noi e con ciò chiudo il tutto!

We chose to dine at this restaurant because of its proximity to Villa Sonia, and after a long day of driving, it seemed convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location itself was unique—a cave just outside the entrance of Castelmole, a fortress town. It had a local charm to it, which made the experience special. However, it's unfortunate that the food did not live up to our expectations. The bread served at our table was stale, and the pasta dishes we ordered were the worst we had during our two-week stay in Sicily. On a positive note, the restaurant did have live music that evening, which added a nice touch to the ambiance. It's worth mentioning that there are several other restaurants located a short distance uphill, offering more dining options nearby.

La Caverna Wine Bar
We spend there 2 great evenings, a revelation! Service very nice, smiling, warm atmosphere. The music band, a couple of Sicilians encouraged to dance! We had a great time. The Lady Boss, the Waitresses, everyone had a great time. I recommend that palce from all my heart, it was great fun. And of course the food and wine - the best!

Una serata così bella. il servizio , l'atmosfera e il cibo erano ottimi. Abbiamo ordinato 3 diverse pizze tra di noi e tutte erano deliziose. Consiglio vivamente di cenare qui. Meglio prenotare in anticipo perché è uno dei locali più preferiti!

La Caverna è un ristorante che frequentiamo molto spesso, perché è garanzia di eleganza, ottimo servizio e soprattutto ottima cucina, dai taglieri ai primi alle pizze e 'tutto ottimo . Inoltre apprezziamo tanto il pianobar gradevole che allieta le serate. Lo scegliamo perché è vicino a Taormina e a Castelmola ma è un'oasi di pace, apprezzabilissimo Per chi vuole allontanarsi da posti caotici.

Loved it! Amazing food!! We had 2 starters, 2 pastas, 2desserts and all of them tasted soo good. Best dinner we had in Sicily until now. Also they were very friendly against our daughter. Last but not least, it was super affordable compared to the taste. Definetely recommending

Amazing restaurant. Delicious food. The staff is friendly and helpful. We spent there two evenings and we were not disappointed. Atmosphere was lovely, in addition there was a live music. Highly recommended!

splendida location, personale gentile, la proprietaria ci ha offerto bruschette e limoncello. piatti squisiti, consiglio la lasagna scomposta con sugo di pesce spada, abbiamo fatto i complimenti al cuoco.
