We had the pleasure of working with Thelma and Alessandro while planning our wedding in Polignano in June 2022. They were an absolute dream to work with! They are both made us feel comfortable that they could guide us through the very daunting task of arranging a wedding abroad. They are both organised, reliable and professional at all times. They helped us select a venue remotely (COVID) and we relied on them completely for the different vendors we used on the day. Their insight to the local area, venues, vendors were invaluable and in truth, we could not have done it without them. They ensured everything ran smoothly on the day, without being intrusive at all. We eloped in Puglia in August this year and couldn't recommend Sona Weddings highly enough! Thelma and Alessandro went above and beyond our expectations with organising our wedding day from Australia. There were various times during the planning we encountered road blocks with navigating Italian bureaucracy and paper work which often made us question our decision to elope in a foreign country. However, Alessandro and Thelma were so caring during these times and always provided solutions to the many hoops we had to jump through - often after panicked Whats app messages from us! Working with Thelma and Alessandro was absolutely amazing. We started planning our wedding on our own and quickly realized we would need someone to help us tie our vision together to help bring it to life. I reached out to Sona weddings and they were amazing from the get-go. They were by far the most responsive wedding planners and vendors I reached out to, and they were amazing about working with us with the US/Italian time difference.We came to them with this crazy idea of flowers hanging over our guests" and they quickly saw our vision and found us amazing florists to choose from. The only wedding planners to book when getting married in Italy!Thelma and Allesandro are the most beautiful people, inside and out! within a few minutes they established a connection with us and could tell exactly what we wanted from our wedding. Due to the pandemic, we were unable to travel to Puglia to view venues. Sona Weddings went above and beyond to ensure we had the full details of each venue they took the time to visit on our behalf, I received many videos, photographs etc which made me feel I were there. Some may say I was a control freak bridezilla, but Thelma never made me feel that way! She answered every question and gathered all the quotes I asked for, even calling me a perfect bride!! We cannot put into words how grateful we are to have had Sona Weddings plan our wedding! Thelma and Alessandro went above and beyond in all aspects of our wedding. Their communication was just outstanding and it was so easy to set up calls and video calls with them. They listened to our vision and completely exceeded our expectations with making it come true! They are an absolute pleasure to work with and all of our guests absolutely loved them! They really could not have done any more for us. We often forgot that we were not their only clients as they just give 100%! Thelma even went as far to hand write name cards and signs in beautiful calligraphy which guest absolutely loved!
