Bellagio Boat Service

We did the 1 hour tour and had a pleasant experience. Gerardo and Gianni were our guide and boat captain. They made sure to drive slowly to account for our infant, shared fun facts of the lake and did a good job customizing the tour to show us key spots in the vicinity. Very enjoyable and was our favorite activity for the day. Well worth it! Thank you Gerardo and Gianni.

We had a tour this morning with Gerardo. He was professional, on time and a wonderful captain. We really enjoyed our two hours with him and we would highly recommend this tour for those who want to see Lake Como in a more intimate setting. The communication on the boat was wonderful!

Gerrardo was excellent! He was super friendly, fun, safe, hospitable and a wonderful captain. We had a lovely time on our tour of famous villas around Lake Como between Bellagio and Tremezzo. Thank you Bellagio Boat Service!

Don't let the fake 5 star reviews fool you! If I could give NO star I would.Gerardo was a rude and obnoxious individual who had no issues in pushing his own agenda because it suited him and not the paying customers (us). We paid a lot of money and had hoped it would be an enjoyable day but as it turned out, the day was ruined and were not able to add it as a highlight to our trip like all the other boat cruises we had enjoyed throughout other parts of Italy.The day started out with Gerardo being late to meet us he then berated my brother in-law for walking on sand as he did not want it in 'his' boat. He proceeded to take us to the first spot and tried to make a joke that he couldn't go any faster than he was as it would cost more in fuel? When pushed to explain what was around us on the beautiful Lake Como all Gerardo kept saying was 'it's just another house' it wasn't until the males in our group grew more frustrated that he started to explain what some places were - no enthusiasm whatsoever.We disembarked for lunch at Varenna (best part of the day) and agreed upon a time for return - a few from the group stopped to take some photos on the jetty and he rudely hand gestured us to hurry up even though we were five minutes early. At this point, we couldn't wait to get off as Gerardo was totally out of line.When we contacted the company to let them know of our experience we were met with defensiveness, no accountability and worst of all no apology for the lack of service we got - disgraceful.My suggestion to Bellagio Boat Service is to look at what you provide as a service because you do NOT offer what is listed on your website.My suggestion to people looking at hiring this company for a wonderful Lake Como experience on the water - DON'T, you will be disappointed as we all were!

Bellagio Boat Service was one of the best boat tours my family and I have ever been on. The boat was well kept and our captain made sure to offer us beverages,as well. Our captain’s name was Gerrardo. He was extremely pleasant to be around, made conversation, had informative details about the houses around the lake, and continuously checked in with us to make sure we were okay. Seemed to be a very genuine man who cared about the experience of his clients. Would absolutely recommend if you are in the area! The tour alone takes you around the majority of the lake where you can view some of the nicest homes. Would do this again!
