Yachting in Sardinia - Base Nautica Punta Asfodeli

WORST CHARTER EXPERIENCE!! Last week, we rented a Bali catamaran from YIS. After we exited the marina and set the sails, it appeared that the steering system stopped working. We luckily managed to solve the issue by ourselves. We reported this issue immediately but the shipowner was not helpful, did not want to help us and the only thing we did was asking for photos and videos of the steering. The issue was repeating from time to time and the shipowner mentioned that they can send an inspection for EXTRA FEE!!!!!!!! This is not a serious charter which is not taking care of customers safety. Moreover, the cap of the clean water plug has unglued (issue due to an improper manufacturing installation) and we were asked to pay 150€ for it. Additionally, the bearing of the Genoa trolley broke suddenly when sailing (not even windy weather) and we have been also asked to pay 200€ for this “damage”. Of course all of the above items were immediately reported to the shipowner which was responding with a huge delay and was not picking up the phone calls.Overall:1. The yachts are not maintained properly2. The charter company takes no responsibility for customers safety3. The company is stealing money4. The company are renting malfunctioning yachtsNot to mention the fact that we received a catamaran that has no 100% fuel tanks level.Finally, after talking to multiple people from the marina that rented a boat from YIS, everyone confirmed that they had bad experience with the charter company.!!NOT RECOMMENDED!!

Really horrible experience with Yachting in Sardinia. If you want to save yourself the trouble and money, choose another charter. Not recommended!

Very good charter company. We rent Bali 4.4 catamaran for 1 week charter. All yachts - almost new and well maintained. They are friendly and do their job well. Recommended !)
