Avoid this place!1. 4 hours' lunch close2. Cold and lack of empathy3. Cannot correctly handle pre-authorisation with international cardsBudget: fix or close this place, it's not good for your image!Long story:We had car pre-paid and thought this should be easy and enough time to just pick up the car with 30 mins buffer before the lunch closing. And no, they could not get through pre-authorisation to reserve additional 300 EUR - with our 5 cards. Of cause nothing was wrong with the cards, we booked a car from Hertz nearby and paid by one of the cards with first try, so we could go on after 6 hours' delay!At the lunch break, we were thrown out on the street. During the 4 hours' break, we called our card companies just to confirm that there were nothing wrong with the cards, only that Budget did not provide enough info to be compliant with the EU regulation.When they reopened, we offered to pay the reservation by cash or card (as the problem was with pre-authorisation), but were denied bluntly. At the time no train ticket was available to our next destination, but luckily we found Hertz.
