Beautiful hotel and rooftop bar and restaurant! In the heart of Como city, right next to the Como Cathedral and the main shopping area! Part of the Hyatt chain of hotels! Helpful staff and luxurious accommodation, best suited for celebrating special occasions. The breakfast and dining options at the rooftop restaurant were great with amazing views! Highly recommended!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Disgusted by how poorly we were treated, from the moment of arrival we felt unwelcome. I would encourage anyone looking for a great experience on Lake Como to stay at one of the many other beautiful hotels. Among the many issues we had included no bell boy to help us with our bags out of the car, no one showed us the hotel's amenities after check in, the luxury" services they booked for us were far from it

We stayed at Vista Palazzo for 4 nights in May, 2023. Having stayed in some of the best-known 5-star hotels in the world, I have to stay that Vista Palazzo stands out as one of the very best of the best. We stayed in a suite with a lake view, and the room and its appointments were stunning, as were all parts of the hotel.What made the hotel truly stand out, however, was the exceptional staff who, kindly and courteously, saw to any needs and questions that arose and made sure that our stay was flawless. Foremost among these was Alberto Ariasi, the concierge who booked all of our dining reservations and, furthermore, planned our outings on Lake Como. Alberto is more like a senior travel consultant and guide than a concierge, and as he accompanied us on one of our day-long tours of the lake, he guided us to fascinating, little-known stops along the way. Alberto alone made our stay memorable, but also assisting us in the hotel were front desk managers Matteo Sguotti, Ilaria Fanari, Elisa Vassallo, and others I unfortunately cannot name. Suffice it to say that we were wonderfully taken care of by all staff. And, to repeat, although Vista Palazzo is in itself a beautifully designed and maintained luxury hotel, it is the wonderful staff that makes it truly outstanding.I would give Vista Palazzo 6 stars, if that were possible. It's definitely a place that we want to return to.

The restaurant is good and the staff is fun to be around. The night staff for check in is accommodating. The morning staff across the board is rude, misinformed, confrontational. Room descriptions of views aren’t accurate. No amenities. Not much of a breakfast. Be warned there’s construction outside. Your views are obstructed and they drill in the night and early in the morning. Extra star because dinner was worthwhile.

Stayed at the Vista Palazzo Lago Di Como with my wife for one night. What can I say: it was amazing. 5-star luxury all the way.Several days prior to our stay, we received an email from the hotel stay informing us, among other things, of directions to the hotel and where to park, asking if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions, newspaper preferences and any requests, and the staff was quick to respond.The hotel itself is beautiful. Walking in through sliding glass doors, you feel the luxury walking in. There's also an alluring scent (like a wonderful, slightly floral perfume; maybe a combination of bergamot and lime, or something similar) that is throughout the common areas of the hotel that makes you just want to linger in those spaces.Check-in was super smooth, and the staff was friendly, polite, professional and helpful. The porter/valet came to help with our bags and park the car. The butler showed us up to the room and took us to the bar and restaurant on the top floor. We had a drink at the bar, but unfortunately did not get a chance to eat dinner at the restaurant (although the menu looked fascinating) -- that will have to be for our next visit!The Vista Palazzo is part of SLH, which is affiliated with Hyatt. I booked through Hyatt and was given some benefits, including complementary breakfast and a one-category upgrade to a junior suite, which was amazing. It was large, beautiful, modern, and tastefully decorated. I had mentioned that our stay was in celebration of a specific event, and, on arriving to our suite, there was some welcome gifts and a personalized note, all of which was very much appreciated. The bathroom was also beautiful and very large, and including a large shower, a separate large tub, and there was marble everywhere.Breakfast was at the restaurant at the top floor, and it was delicious. A buffet of pastries, cold cuts, cheeses and bread, as well as some eggs and bacon.Check-out experience was as smooth as check-in. Our car was brought to us.One thing to keep in mind is that the lakefront near the hotel is having work done, so the shore is not as beautiful as you see in photos, though this is no fault of the hotel.A big thank you to all the staff at the property.We will be back to Como at some point in the future, and when we return, I highly doubt that we would even consider any other property for our stay -- we will return to the Vista Palazzo.

Awesome hotel! One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! The rooms are beautiful, the scent of the hotel is so nice! Me and my husband had a great time. Service is great. They really know how to treat their guests. Loved my stay there!!! Staff is awesome and welcoming!

Highly recommend this hotel! Overall fantastic experience with our stay here for our honeymoon.The staff was extremely welcoming, assisting us with anything we needed - from dinner reservations to a boat ride and recommendations on experiences. Chiara, at the front desk, & Alberto, the butler, were particularly helpful in making this a perfect stay.The rooms and decor were impeccable & the morning breakfast was always fresh. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We look forward to returning again one day.Thank you!

Perfect location but above all excellence in the service and the rooms and the most comfortable bed. This is one of the few places where we can’t wait to be back. The attention to the details and the smiling and efficient staff made it a wonderful experience. Thank you to all.

I have traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels, and have had the opportunity to meet a lot of hotel staff. However, my recent stay at the Vista Palazzo has set a new standard for customer service and overall experience. As we prepare to depart, I can't express in words how wonderful the hotel and staff have been. My wife and I are already looking forward to returning with our family. If you're planning to stay in Lake Como, Vista Palazzo is a must-visit.

Excellent hotel. It has a nice view to the lake. The rooms (we were in 2 kind of rooms) are very clean, beautiful, and with a lots of nice details that makes you smile.But, there are also some details that makes us less happy. When you pay 2.500€ a night you expect that at least the parking is included, so at the end when you get a bill for almost 200€ for parking is just annoying.And one more thing, the gluten-free options for breakfast is just a joke! Plain crackers or cereal… boring.
