Villa Rosa is a perfect Villa. We have stayed here many times and Bob and Debbie are the prefect owners. Knowledgeable, friendly and can also help with the language if you need it.My Brothers wife and kids came to stay last year (2020) and the kids just loved their holiday. The pool was a real bonus for them too. We made regular trips to water parks, a short drive down the coast.There are some fab restaurants in the local town and the Pizzas are to die for. If you prefer to stay in there is a gas BBQ which we used a LOT.Local wines (Primitivo and Fiano) are great quality and very cheap. We are booked to come back in August and hopefully can make it. We have stayed and Bob and Debbie's villas on many occasions and what is wonderful is the consistently great service and attention to detail. From the welcome basket of locally produced foods to the knowledge of attractions and activities there is always something new to see and enjoy in addition to the regular joys of the local area, the pool and villa gardens.Villa Rosa has the advantage of being within walking distance of the sea and vibrant market whilst having a private, sheltered garden with an excellent pool set in a beautiful whitewashed courtyard garden. There is plenty of on street parking, with a hire car travelling further afield is easy - if you are using public transport there are good bus routes to other coastal villages and the bigger towns.Casalabatte is a great centre for restaurants, coffee, gelati and people watching during the evening passeggiata. Recently a series of fascinating murals have appeared around the area. About 45 minutes from Brindisi airport it is easily accessible.Bob and Debbie are perfect hosts and keep the facilities clean, comfortable and welcoming, you have everything you need. They also have an amazing skill as hosts of being available when needed, making sure linen is changed over and the pool maintained without ever being in the way of you enjoying your stay.We can't wait to return!

This self contained detached villa is perfect for a small family or couple looking for a base to explore rural and coastal Puglia.It is fully equipped with a lovely garden and excellent pool.A 2 minute walk to the sea and local small town which has a market every day in the summer, local butchers, bakery and fresh fish market. Nothing better than getting up, going hunter gathering for the days freshest food and relaxing around the pool then enjoying a plate and glass of Italys finest.We highly recomnend the villa, and will be returning as we do most years, Bob and Debbie the hosts will do all they can to ensure your holiday is a success.Great place.

I don't know why this account is showing as Paul Jamers as we are Colin and Jacquie Leney but we're very happy to leave a review for this lovely villa.Bob and Debbie were very good hosts and the food and drink welcome basket was very generous including enough for a meal of meatballs and pasta for our first evening was a fabulous way to start the holiday, with a selection of snacks including crisps, cheese, ham, jam, marmalade, red and white wine and lovely homemade limonchello and ice cream. The villa was rustic as was the area, the surrounding front and rear gardens and pool were amazing. Bob regularly attended the pool to ensure it remained clean. Debbie provided recommendations for restaurants, two of which we went to, Nonna Lisa was very localised, good and reasonably priced, but l'osteria del Vicoletto was by far the best. This is located in Mesagne, which is worth a visit in itself. The only downside were the mosquitos, so repellent and sprays are highly recommended. We would return if at all possible and wish to extend our thanks and appreciation to our hosts.

We returned again to our very favourite place to holiday. The villa was as wonderful as ever and the guests who stayed with us absolutely loved it.The surprise was seeing how the local area is being improved, with new sea front paths, new restaurants and opportunities for wine tasting! Bob and Debbie, the owners, took us to a local vineyard where we enjoyed learning all about the wines we tasted, were given a delicious range of foods to eat and then, after a wander round the vineyards, we were able to purchase some wines to drink during our stay.We have already booked for next year - just as well, this villa is popular and no wonder!
