Guesthouse I 4 Gatti is an absolute treasure. Charming and close to the old city centre. If you want to find a calm, affordable and tasteful place where you can stay during your visit to Bologna, look no further. An exquisite liberty-style villa with a sophisticated interior that will make you feel like home. Enjoying the rich and tasty breakfast in the garden feels like being on the countryside: an oasis of mediterranean bliss. For a small price you can even park your car on the gated estate. Filippo is a wonderful host who can give you the best tips on what to visit and explore in the city. Particularly special is the Basilica di Santo Stefano, a complex of religious edifices from the 5th century. I’ve had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend booking a room in this magnificent place. I have no doubt you’ll enjoy it as much as I did.

Bellissimo posto. La posizione è ottima..Il centro si raggiunge in circa 20 minuti . Filippo è un ottimo padrone di casa. Molto disponibile e cordiale. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Mi è piaciuto molto l'arredamento della casa . Nella stanza ci sono due finestrelle molto carine una sul soffitto. Bagno pulito e nuovo. Abbiamo fatto colazione fuori in giardino dove sono presenti dei tavoli e dove c è anche una amaca

Da 5 anni che sto a Bologna e giuro ke mai sn stata in un locale dove ho mangiato così bene!! Siamo stati trattati benissimo con gentilezza e cortesia. Ci siamo sentiti a casa :-) di certo ritorneremo ....consigliatissimo il dolce tartufo bianco !!!!!

The place is conveniently located, very close to a bus stop and walking distance to all places of interest, quite clean and nicely decorated with retro furniture giving the place an authentic feeling of an classic Italian house. The host was very friendly and helpful. The only disadvantage was that one of the sockets in the room didn't work so charging phones and using the fan at the same time was a bit chaotic, having an extension cord running thru the middle of the room. Except for that little detail it was just what we needed for our 1 night stay in Bologna so I highly recommend the place.

Filippo is a great host, the house is beautiful and has a very nice decoration. The bed was comfortable and the room was really nice. Filippo gave me great tips to explore Bologna, which made my visit so much better.It's located in a residential area with lots of trees on the street.I loved my stay.

Posto in un palazzo d'epoca ha come punto di forza la posizione, appena fuori porta Saragozza è in una zona tranquilla e vicinissima al centro. Gentilissimo il proprietario che si adopera a rendere piacevole il soggiorno ai suoi ospiti. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Luogo incantevole! Si respira un'atmosfera rilassante in una bella villa d'epoca a due passi da porta Saragozza. Il proprietario è gentilissimo, ha accettato senza problemi il nostro cane e ci è venuto incontro a tutte le nostre richieste. Ottima la colazione, preparata con cura. Una soluzione perfetta. Torneremo sicuramente.

A beautiful and charming guesthouse close to the centre of Bologna, whilst still being on a quiet street. The owner Filippo is helpful and friendly. Communication was excellent. Due to a family issue, my wife who had made the booking couldn't be with us. Filippo sent me clear and helpful instructions. The house has character in the best possible way; high ceilinged rooms, thoughtfully decorated. The garden is delightful with trees and hammocks. My boys entertained themselves, playing ping pong outside and piano inside. It's a really wonderful place, cared for lovingly - and it shows. I *really* recommend it.

If you wish to feel at home in the old Bologna atmosphere this is the place to go, Filippo is a great host and place is not only lovely but close to the center, clean and with a great garden. Vintage furniture, great breakfast and the park not far from it make my trip in bologna a little dream

I stayed for a week in autumn and I really felt at home, especially because of having common areas. Filippo is a lovely host who decorated the house tastefully - so I found it very charming there. Everything was very clean.
