Rented a road bike for a week: great experience! Mimmo is super friendly and professional, the bike was excellent (Ridley, carbon frame) and having sent my measurements upfront was set up perfectly. Thumbs up, no hesitation to go back!Ps also good recommendations for routes to ride, some spectacular spots!

Had a great experience renting a Ridley carbon bike from Mimmo for two days. Great communication and the bike delivered and picked up at my hotel (you may want to consider this option if staying at the hills - it's a bit of a trek to down/up Fasano :)

THE BIKES in central Fasano is not just a bike shop. It is owned by the most friendly, helpful, thoughtful cyclist, Mimmo. We both rented high end carbon road bikes to explore the area for 5 days.Mimmo was always available to help if we had mechanical, flats or other. He also delivered the bikes to our Monopoli hotel, then drove us to the train station when finished with the bikes. Thank you so much Mimmo!Mimmo organizes bike tours which sound super fun with this man who knows the area so well. After all, he rides his bike regularly a mere 200 km during his lunch break - just because he loves bikes! Wow.I can’t recommend The Bikes in Fasano enough. You’ll get exceptional service here!

I hired a road bike for 4 days during July. High temperatures so wanted to get out early for some cycling.I had messaged Mimmo in advance for a quote and confirmed the reservation a few days before. I went for the lower level road bike which was in good condition and worked well. Mimmo has different clipless pedal types available (Keo, SPd, SPD-SL). The bike came with a small saddle bag with tube and pump, and he provided a helmet too.Mimmo was kind enough to communicate in english (my italian isn’t good!). He also put me on to his Strava profile to see some local route suggestions.I’d happily recommend The Bikes to a friend and would certainly use the store again for a hire or just if I needed to pop in for cycle equipment.

My son and I had a wonderful morning with Mimo! He made the whole experience easy and memorable. Riding on country roads, through olive groves, and along the coast was special. Mimo was fun to be with. We visited an olive oil mill and had a delicious snack of cheeses and taralli at a dairy farm.

Rented a touring type bike for 2 weeks to explore the area. The owner was really accommodating and provided with a great working bike and offered support service should I need it (luckily I didnt). Communicated easily via WhatsApp to pickup and dropoff. Definitely recommend.

A last minute decision by us to spend a day cycling in the Italian countryside to visit Alberobello and Locorotondo, and Mimmo made it happen for us. Great communication, picked us up from Fasano rail station, gave us great bikes, explained to us the best route, and assured us that he'd be there in case we needed support. We had a fantastic day and made a new friend in Mimmo, a great guy and loves his cycling. We really recommend The Bikes for any cycling hire or tours in Puglia. Thanks Mimmo.
