We visited the village for a few days and we were fortunate enough to stumble upon this wonderful shop! Roger is a huge contribution to this beautiful place, always in a good mood, very helpful and kind! Everything we tried was super fresh, flavourful and delicious. We visited the store for our lunch on a boat. They really thought of everything. It’s a joy to visit their store. It will surprise you what you can buy in that little store. Hotel Scapiotella should be grateful to have this asset nearby!

Roger is simply superb! What an asset he is to this little village. We stayed with our extended family at Hotel Scapolatiello just up the road from Roger's little shop. He accommodated large lunch orders for us with the freshest of ingredients and fruit. Our kids new him as Mr Roger by the end of the holiday and spent the rest of the holiday comparing any other sandwich against his (there was no equal to his according to them!). In short, Roger made our stay in Corpo di Cava that extra little bit richer and we are so thankful for everything that he did to make that happen. Live long and prosper Roger!

We stayed in this village for a week and bought everything we needed from this wonderful little shop. It’s an absolute Aladdin’s Cave of edible delights! Roger is friendly and helpful with great enthusiasm for Italian food. We’ll be back!

The owner, Roger, made this experience so much more in a little town! This was such an amazing village to stay at, we came here for a honeymoon and we enjoyed every moment! Every day we came to visit Roger because he is great and always gives good conversation and amazing service! Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. You should go out of your way to go there!

We were hoping to find a few panini for our hike from Badia and lo and behold, there was this adorable salumeria run by a friendly expat American! Thanks, Roger, for the wonderful food and conversation.

Finding Roger’s store was one of the best thing about our vacation. He was always ready to make sandwiches with anything we wanted. He always had time to have a chat about everything. He made staying at Hotel Scapolatiello better. Thank you!

Imagine traveling from Florida to a remote town in Italy only to find out the shop owner used to live less than 30 minutes from your home in Florida! That’s Roger. Best shop, best panini, bread, fruit, cheese and of course coffee. What a gem!!
