Luca.ski Private Ski Instructor Zermatt

I found Luca as an instructor for my girlfriend, who was a first-time skier at that time. Luca's communication and time/location planning was timely and detailed, was easy to meet him at the resort. I booked two days of lessons, and was very impressed with the progress my girlfriend made during those two days - they jumped off the beginners slope to the blue run quickly, and improved rapidly. The feedback I got from my girlfriend was that Luca was very knowledgeable, was noticing all the problems and chose the best ways to address those, moving at the convenient pace but also fast enough to feel progress. I could easily recommend his services.

Luca is a fantastic ski teacher. I was a beginner and he made sure I learned clean technique with suitable and fun excercises and I felt safe. He is super nice and friendly and makes sure the students have fun and learn quickly. In addition, he is excellent at explaining the technique. I can highly recommend him!!!

Learning to ski with Luca has probably been my best learning experience, all sports/leisure included. Besides being extremely competent, Luca is empathetic, precise and communicates very effectively. Learning how to ski as an adult raised in Central Africa was a very exciting yet intimidating idea, but thanks to Luca I felt safe, guided and supported during the entire process. I arrived not even able to wear skis properly, I left with increased skills, confident in my ability to ski, and inspired by how he managed to get me to exceed my goals. Plus Luca has a very positive presence which makes the experience quite enjoyable! Wether is for a few hours or a few days, if you ever think about trying ski and are in the region stop looking. Luca is the one!

Luca has been my instructor for 3 seasons now and I went from a very nervous and awkward skier to one who is more confident in taking on the slopes of Zermatt. He has improved my skills so much and even helped me overcome a lot of fear that I had when I first began. I don’t think I will be seeing any other instructor in Zermatt besides him. His way of teaching is incredibly efficient and is tailored to the skill level of his students. Definitely a loyal student here!

Luca was fantastic and have been a lovely host throughout the days we were with him. Even when weather conditions are not optimal for skiing, he was quick to think on his feet and provide other activities recommendations in the area. On the slopes, he is a fantastic coach and his lessons focus on the basic technique of skiing which I think it can go a long way for people want to do advancing skiing in the near future. He was super passionate about this work and most importunely effective communication on and off the slope, definitely would strongly recommend for skier at all levels.

I've been skiing since I was a child but have carried into adulthood some issues with my technique. Over the past few years I've hired various ski instructors from reputable ski schools across major resorts in the US and Alps, but none of them were really able to troubleshoot my problem areas the way Luca did.Luca was able to instantly identify my areas of weakness and, using easy-to-understand coaching and drills, diligently and patiently worked with me over the course of three lessons to transform my skiing. By the end of our three sessions, I could tell my skiing had dramatically improved more than it had in the past 2 years.I'd recommend Luca to anyone regardless of ability, but I can't endorse him enough for more experienced recreational skiers. At an upper intermediate/advanced level, it's really difficult to find instructors that are able to help you meaningfully progress - Luca's one of the few that will really be able to take you to the next level.Already looking forward to my next trip to Zermatt so I can book more lessons with Luca!

I had an amazing day skiing with Luca today in our little group. He recorded videos of us at the beginning of the day, analysed our technique and provided plenty of helpful and easy to follow tips, then recorded us at the end of our lesson. It was a great way to see our improvements but also to know what we still need to work on. Can’t wait for another lesson with Luca and would recommend him to anyone, no matter of your skiing level.

Luca is one of the best ski instructors I have had! He understands your learning style and tries his best to adapt to that! He is really patient and ensures you’re technique is perfect before progressing! It was a fun experience overall!

My wife and I skied with Luca for 3hrs in the morning. We did a lot of technique work and both of us made huge progress. I highly recommend doing a lesson with him. His skiing knowledge is excellent.
