Got ‘scolded’ by a staff member for my melting ice-cream OUTSIDE the shop on the street. In 35 degree heat my ice-cream was melting faster than I could eat it. Was going to go shopping in here but decided against it after the way I was spoken to, and found another lovely shop to buy what I was looking for.EDIT: In response to the owner’s reply, I would have no reason to lie, this review was written in the aftermath of complete shock at how an Amalfi shop owner feels they can speak so rudely to tourists, and appear to forget that without us, they wouldn’t have a livelihood. Manners go a long way, you would do well to keep that in mind.

Excellent little marine shop perfect for gifts from Amalfi. Quality products at very affordable prices. Most everything in the shop is carefully hand made and authentic to the area.

I bought a super cute sail boat and my boyfriend bought a scope, such nice staff. I would love to buy more from this shop. Hopefully I will get the chance to travel back to Amalfi soon. Without doubt one of the nicest and authentic stores to buy souvenirs from in that town.

recentemente sono stato ad Amalfi e “Marinerie” mi ha colpito per l’elevato numero di oggetti marinari ben fatti che avrei voluto acquistare. Ho preso un magnifico porta chiavi in ottone con casco da palombaro. Mi rammarico di non aver acquistato un lume che mi era particolarmente piaciuto.
