Fly Milan -AtlantaThis is the worst airline I have ever flown with. Today 04/20/2023 on a flight that was supposed to fly yesterday, and due to a plane breakdown, our plane was turned back from the runway. Today, the plane was supposed to leave at 10 o'clock in the morning and the situation repeated itself, the plane was turned back from the runway, after waiting on the plane for about an hour to open the doors, we still continue to wait for our luggage (already for 2 hours) For all this time it did not come the representative of the airline and no one can explain what happened. Dozens of people are locked down without food and water. It's a huge shame

Several things to note. 1. I was on my honeymoon. 2. A family member passed away only a few days before the wedding. 3. We went through with it because that’s what she would have wanted. 4. We took our scheduled honeymoon as well because we needed the break after a difficult week back in the US. 5. We had booked our return flight’s Delta Comfort seats at 10A and 10B over a year ago. 6. They bumped me out of my seat for a “handicapped person” the day before our return because they claimed she had a cast on her leg. This switch of my seat caused a lot of stress as my fiancé is already anxious to fly, and on top of it needed my emotional support because of everything that had transpired recently. 7. To be clear, my seat was changed against my will I was told i would not be able to sit next to her and it was in their contract with passengers that this was allowed. I spent many hours on the phone trying to rectify this. 8. Fortunately I woke up early and was able to nab the same type of seat, on the aisle, on the complete opposite side of row 10. The exact same seat, on the other side. When we got to the airport we tried further to resolve the situation, and finally were told that the “handicapped” person said she would not change seats with me because her right leg needed to stick out into the aisle. 9. The “handicapped” person then walked onto the plane, to take her seat like a normal person. And sat down like a normal person, with her legs bent. 10. Please see the photos of this “handicapped” person. She is in the background of the photo (the far end, top of the photo) with the gray hair bending forward to adjust herself. Then is sitting normally. 11. Another passenger ultimately agreed to change seats with my wife, thank goodness. 12. Delta says they have a policy against changing people from their seats without their permission, but that’s what they did with me. That’s apparently because in spite of their policy they can do it “when they need to.” 14. The woman checking my passport upon boarding the plane couldn’t read the hand written date on the sticker the passport agent stuck on my passport. When she asked me about it in Italian the in broken English I said I have no idea. Then she pulled me aside to ask a colleague about it who eventually said it was fine. She apologized and allowed me to board. 15. Upon walking down the boarding plank, my wife was “randomly selected” for additional security screening, which caused her to miss out of putting her luggage in the area above where we were sitting. 16. They should treat their Platinum customers better, which is what I am. My fiancé is Gold. And Delta should treat all customers better. 17. They ultimately, unnecessarily caused us a lot of stress.
