We had our first outdoor rock climbing experience with Cain in Finale Ligure. With some basic indoor climbing and bouldering knowledge, Cain took us to various locations around Finale and provided us 2 unforgettable days where we learnt how to approach real rocks, we did our first lead climbing session and we even got an introduction to a multi pitch climb. Without Cain’s guidance, we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish all this. Besides providing us a safe and controlled space to try ourselves out and sharing a lot of useful tips and tricks, Cain took time to talk about history of the region, showed us around and introduced us to the best ice cream in Finalborgo!

Such an incredible mountaineering course! I learned and practiced new skills everyday in breathtaking scenery. Cain was very knowledgeable on the history of the area and provided experiences that allowed me to understand the culture of Ponte di Legno, making it a very unique trip. I felt safe and confident under Cain’s direction and I can’t wait to book another trip!

Was extremely rude, aggressive and not helpful. I never write reviews, but I was shocked with how unprofessional he was. I hope he never takes more people to the mountains, I would never feel comfortable with him and definitely not recommend. Im genuinely sad to have to write this. I hope it doesn’t affect his business, but his attitude was completely out of order. We came to Mountain Guides Italy in search of getting more confidence and skills in the amazing world of mountaineering, in which we had some previous experience at climbing junior" peaks in South America. We booked the Basic Alpinism Course - and got so much more: We wished to focus on skills in glacial terrain

Good local knowledge to find the best spots and right adaptation to group's ability. Spent a day skinning and varying back-ountry skiing. Cain is a great guy to spend time on the mountain with. Highly recommended.

Super guida Cain Olsen che ci ha fatto passare una mattinata meravigliosa nelle alture di Finale Ligure. Mia figlia ha arrampicato su roccia per laprima voltacon Cain ed è rimasta molto contenta e tutti siamo rimasti stupiti dalla bellezza del territorio. Anche io e mio marito che non abbiamo arrampicato abbiamo apprezzato le spiegazioni di Cain sul territorio, le rocce, etc etc. Ottimo servizio!! Grande competenza!!
