Cantine Goretti

We went here for a wine tasting (25euro per person).The location is beautiful and the lady that was in charge of the tasting was very friendly. Also spoke English.The tasting was inside a 12th century watch tower of Perugia. The interior was mostly intact and provided a great atmosphere.We got to taste 2 white wines, 2 red wines and 1 sweet dessert wine. You get a lot of wine per tasting. All wines were simply amazing and were accompanied by a large platter of local deli meats, home-made bread and cheese. Unfortunately no vegetarian or vegan options, but I put aside my morals for this. It all tasted great!The story behind the winery was also interesting. Prices in both stores on the facility were very good for the quality.Definitely recommend!

Situata a 7 km da Perugia, circondata da bellissime colline, si trova questa cantina: storica e innovativa allo stesso tempo, gestita dalla famiglia Goretti.Siamo stati accolti dai sorrisi di Giulia e Sara, che sono la quarta generazione familiare, con un tour della loro realtà, conoscendo anche nonna Marcella in tutta la sua vitalità. A seguire, abbiamo degustato i loro prodotti nella torre storica, accompagnati da un tagliere di buoni salumi. I vini, molto diversi tra di loro, erano tutti ottimi.Io ed il mio fidanzato siamo rimasti affascinati e soddisfatti da questa esperienza, consigliatissima!
