Viaggiare Rent Alghero

Auto completamente segnata in tutte le sue parti. Al ritiro la signora che mi ha consegnato l’auto non ha evidenziato un piccolo segno nel copri ruota e al momento della consegna mi è stato contestato è fatto pagare ben 48 euro. … dimenticavo la macchina l’ho tenuta solo un giorno per arrivare a casa e basta senza utilizzarla ulteriormente e restituita l’indomani quindi senza poter arrecare danni!!! …. Addebitare danni simili è facile perché intanto a posteriori è difficile contestare ma …. l’utile aumenta!! Sconsiglio vivamente mai capito in tanti anni una cosa simile!

I've rented a car for a week at the begining of June and everything was spot on. the pickup was fast, the lady at the desk explained everything about the price, the depozit etc. the car was like new (about 25k km), and the drop off was done in about 5 minutes, the guy took a look at car and then released the depozit. Have to say that I was a little nervous reading some comments but everything was great and i sure would use them the next time i go to italy

**Important** - Ensure the main driver has a CREDIT CARD in their name when collecting the car.We were unable to rent a car which we had reserved because of this. The ladies in the office were very helpful but we would have had to contact a third party to change drivers as we only had debit cards. Seems like something that might happen frequently so possibly have an easier option to switch drivers.

I made a car reservation in advance some weeks ago. Back then, I read all of the negative reviews and considered cancelling my reservation. Today I regret not having done it.We were supposed to pick up the car between 22 and 23h. Our flight had more than one hour delay, so my partner (italian) called this car rental agency. They informed us that the agency closes at 24:00 and when he asked if we could pick up the car the next day, they answered affirmatively. We landed at 00:15 and went directly to Alghero. The next day, when we came back to the airport, we found out that our reservation had been annulled and all the money was lost (without any communication whatsoever via email or phone).Apparently there is “a policy”, that with delays of 1 hour (yes, one hour), the car reservation is annulled. This with other non communicated policies like: 60 Euro extra if the car is picked up after 22:00, and so on. The lack of communication when we called before boarding to Alghero, as well as when our reservation was cancelled is truly unacceptable.So if like me some weeks ago, you are reading these reviews, and considering whether to rent a car here, please do take them seriously and do not put your money, time and trust here.

Basically everything was ok on our holiday until the last moment. The rented car was ok, we didn't scratch anywhere. Then we took back the car for check, it turned out the forced lock is not operating. Naturally, we really surprised this thing because we didn't even think about it to use the forced lock, since the car operating with the central lock. Of course, nobody had showed the car when we picked up so we couldn't know about this problem. After that she immediately suspected us we caused the problem although we didn't that this problem existed. Interestingly, there was only one mini note on the damage list with this text: serratura ok". It meant in English: Forced lock is ok. All this despite that nobody tried to the forced lock is operating. The "dear colleague" therefore wanted to charge us 1

Avoid this car rental. They took additional money from our account after we gave it back. We were told that car has some new damages to it and charged us extra for it. We returned the car in the same condition as we got it. Scam!

Ottima esperienza. Le ragazze del desk molto gentili e preparate. Ci hanno dato anche dei validi consigli per le spiagge e i ristoranti!

L'aereo è in forte ritardo e ci applicate euro 60 per consegna veicolo dopo le 23. Se il cliente dimostra che non è stata colpa sua non andrebbe addebitata a mio avviso. E vogliamo parlare di quanto fatto pagare oggi a chi non ha trovato benzina ad Alghero per riportare l auto al pieno? No comment

Tutto perfetto. Sia al ritiro che alla consegna ho trovato delle persone gentili che mi hanno dato tutti i dettagli necessari. E l'auto era perfetta. Li consiglio senza dubbio!La prossima volta prenoterò direttamente senza passare da un broker.
