Ottimo ristorante, staff cortese e alla mano.Una nota di merito per la zuppetta di scoglio, ingredienti freschi e porzioni abbondanti, forse un po’ povera la frittura.Prezzi più che giusti per un ristorante in zona turistica.Consiglio di prenotare e mettersi in lista d’attesa.

Delicious Italian food. Great service by the staff and owner. Loved the seafood risotto. We went there twice ! The king prawn, fish and mussels were very fresh and the fresh were sweet and tender. Highly recommended

AMAZING! We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned for a second time during our stay. I recommend putting in reservations during lunch for dinner that evening. This is a popular place (understandably).The service was great, and they were very accommodating for my gluten allergy. Most items were naturally gluten-free, and they have g free pasta for those dishes. They even have delicious gluten-free desserts that weren't gelato.Between the two nights, we had the local Cinque Terre white wine, the anchovies in lemon (a starter that was incredible. I would never eat anchovies but they are known for them in Cinque Terre and we see why), pasta with pesto, muscles as a starter, we shared the seafood risotto (best dish of our trip in Italy so far!) and for desserts we had the ammeretto dessert and the naturally gluten free creme caramel.We are still talking about the food here. Every single bite was amazing! To top it off, we ate on the boardwalk outside, looking at the sea both nights.

Nice little restaurant in Montessero. Had both inner and outer seating, which was nice especially when it's hot outside. I ordered penne scampi, and the food was great. Service was fast though the billing took some time due to the crowd.

My husband and I ate at Il Gabbiano twice while in Monterosso and absolutely loved it both times. The food was so fresh and tasted amazing. The handmade pasta dishes were to die for. The waiter and waitress were amazing people and took excellent care of you the whole time. We’ve been to two different stops before here and this was by far the best experience we have had while in Italy. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The most incredible seafood with spaghetti. Fresh and such depth of flavour. Hugo cocktail - perfect and refreshing. The waiter, so friendly and fun. Fantastic location and view of the beach - you can't be closer. Definitely recommend for lunch with a view and a relaxed atmosphere.

We ordered the Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare, a seafood dish priced at £15. It included mantis prawn, flathead prawn, mussels, and clams. The combination was absolutely delicious.

Give 5 Star to this Resturant, the waiter are kind and try to explain the food for us. She make sure that you will get what you want. Recommend to reserve before the dinner time. It’s very crowded. The seafood soup is recommended. Two kind of mussels and Many kind of prawn in tomato sauce are very delicious. Sole with butter are recommended also. Mussel soup is good.

Fantastic meal with excellent hosts. One of the overwhelming feelings of eating out in this area is that it can often feel like the restaurant doesn't want you there - but this place was warm and welcoming.Great food. We got the mixed seafood appetizer, and I had the house specialty stuffed pasta in walnut sauce (more of a walnut cream, but super delicious no matter the name). There's a lot of options around here, but I'd definitely prioritize coming back here again if I returned.
