Drive The Vintage

Making an appointment was very easy. Once there the Fiat 500 was already outside, really nice car. Checked everything outside the car and write down the bumps and scratches. Inside checked the insurance papers and saw that at a stolen vehicle we had to pay €7000,-, even though it is not our fault. We had the choose of buying" an extra insurance for €25

Amazing experience! Really loved every second of it. Flo was very helpful to get us started and honestly it get like a dream. Everyone who visits Italy should definitely use drive the vintage and experience Italy in a unique and excellent way! Can’t wait to do it again!

I was only staying in Lucca for a few nights, and i was very unlucky with the weather. The disicion to spend a day driving a vintage Fiat around small towns in Toscana was the best choice i have made. The service, the quality and the experience made the day unforgettableWhen it came to the cars; They were in a unbelivable condition, and it felt very safe to drive it on the road amongst modern cars. A very good feeling was to get a positive reaction from locals:)The staff were also super Nice, it made the entre booking, introduction course and delivery at the end very Nice and pleasent. If you are staying nearby, i would strongly recommend:))

We had an incredible experience with Drive the Vintage. Like most other reviewers we rented the car and followed the given itinerary to Montecarlo. It was a beautiful drive and destination. The process was smooth, the cars were basically perfect, and it was a really great way to see the Tuscany countryside!

We had a small group tour with Luca in the vintage Fiats. The tour was amazing, driving all the small country roads, seeing the beautiful views, and having a delicious lunch in an adorable town on the hill. Luca has such an infectious passion for vintage cars and bikes and we are so glad we had a chance to do this tour while in Lucca. Very cool to drive a vintage classic!

We had the most wonderful experience with Luca and Drive the Vintage! We only had a short time in Tuscany and I really wanted to see the countryside. I found Drive the Vintage as I was looking for driving tour options. Luca offers guided drives, but he also rents out his Fiat 500’s, and that’s what we decided to do! Communication via email was smooth, and when we showed up, our beautiful red Fiat was ready and waiting! Luca sent us a route to follow that took us on back roads to MonteCarlo. It was one of the most perfect drives and villages to visit. He also had lunch recommendations which was appreciated, and offered to drive us to the train station after we finished our drive! The entire experience is one not to miss! Only thing to note is the cars are manual, so someone in your group needs to have the know-how to drive a manual car. Thankfully my friend did, and we didn’t have to miss out on this experience! Thank you Luca! We hope to come back again someday!

Fantastic experience and highly recommended. Such a refreshing change from the usual hire car companies. The guys were lovely to deal with and will definitely use them again when next in Lucca. The ultimate Italiano experience :)

Driving the classic Fiat 500 in the country side of Lucca was truly a lifetime experience. Luca, the shop manager, was such a great host. He made sure we had a great experience, gave us good directions, really took care of us. I can’t wait to come back to Lucca and rent with them again. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Luca guided one of my cycling groups on a Fiat 500 tour through the hills and I heard all about his passion and knowledge for vintage cars and the surrounding area. Luca is a wonderful host and he undoubtedly pushes me to be better in my own business. Whatever Luca does, it goes without saying he'll do it with passion and an enormous amount of generosity.
