The machine 3 took my precious 6 euro coins but reported error. I managed to make it try again (p1hr) and then it reported door open. Once I opened the door. Nothing happened and it went back to ask for another 6 euro. This is extremely frustrating as I don’t have enough cash and the machine doesn’t take my card. Don’t come here when there is no one around. The machine is smart to just take the $$ without doing the laundry. I wish there is other way to handle the frustrating situation. I tried more than one credit cards as well

very user friendly place for Americans who does not speak Italian. The gentleman who helped us spoke perfect English and the machines and system were push-button easy to use. For both wash and dry (1 load) it cost us 10 Euros and the detergent was already in the system so no need to have your own, definitely a perk while you are traveling! We had a 3 weeks trip all around Italy and Catania was the midway point for us, so this place was perfect.

Abbiamo usufruito delle lavatrici piccole da 8 kg, 6€ l'una. Mezz'ora ciascuna. Asciugatrice 4€ per mezz'ora. Una sola volta riesce ad asciugare tutti i capi, anche i più pesanti. La prossima volta a Catania se avrò bisogno di un servizio simile nuovamente, sono certo che ritornerò.

It’s a good place to wash your clothes, the owner is very nice and there’s a coffe shop next door so you can wait there. It’s usually busier in the mornings

Very convenient to wash clothes on your own, washing is fast and prices are ok (6 Euros for a regular machine, 4 Euros for the tumbler). There's a wonderful coffee next door.

Il ragazzo che gestisce la lavanderia è super disponibile, simpatico e pronto a spiegare come tutto funziona.Le macchine funzionano già con il sapone, senza bisogno di aggiungere nulla. Ottima esperienza

This place is great. Yes, it's 10 euros to wash and dry, but this includes detergent, which the machine automatically dispenses. Very easy to navigate the machines for an English speaker. The sign on the door says it's open from 7:30 am to 11:30 pm every day, which is different from the Google hours. I went on Sunday and there was no staff there, but it was no problem. The machines did a great job on my clothes, better than the ones at the last laundromat I used. Highly recommended for tourists in need of a quick and easy wash. You can get some nice gelato and other desserts at Prima Opera across the square while you wait, which I definitely did because it was 40C/100F today!
