Absolutely fantastic in every way - from the moment we were greeted we felt the warmth history and culture of this place... and the food?? To DIE FOR!!! the tartarre was particularly exquisite... the creme brulee simply amazing and a vast selection of wine - which you can drink while in a 2000 year old cellar. Wow! but go with whatever wine they recommend because they are masters at their craft. Fortunate to meet Francesco and his father and mother, his mom is such an amazing chef! We will be back to Rome specifically to eat HERE! We would give MORE than 5 stars if we could!

Loved our dinner experience here! Pasta was amazing and the staff was so great. The owner was incredibly friendly and generous, really great experience, highly recommend!

It was one of the best meals of my life. My fiance and I went here for our 2 year anniversary, and it was a great choice. The ravoli is amazing. The ability to choose your own wine from the oldest wine cellar in Rome is also cool. The owner and his mother are so very nice. The Creme Brule was incredible. If I am ever back in Rome, it will be a go-to. Highly recommend.

Locale accogliente e particolare è situato all'interno di un'antica sinagoga, si dice sia la più vecchia di Roma. Francesco è molto accogliente e gentile, il servizio è veloce e attento, il cibo molto buono. Utilizzano materie prime di altissima qualità. Se devo essere sincero i dolci sono stati spettacolari!

This was an unforgettable experience for my wife and I. This is a slow dining experience, so do not expect to be in and out quickly. However, it is so worth it. Francesco and his family are absolutely incredible. The food, the service, the atmosphere- everything is a perfect. I would highly recommend dining at this absolute gem of a restaurant……….We will definitely return!.

Amazing service, walk in seating available, great portion sizes, seemed heavier on wines outside of Lazio. I went here in 2015 and in 2023...same great experience!I recommend the cacio e pepe and rigatoni lamb ragu.

If you are in Rome this is a must have. The best food and service you will find in Italy. Beautiful family with slow cooked food that will blow your taste buds away. Every time we are in Rome we have to have dinner here.

This was an unforgettable experience for my husband and I. We came here by chance, and waited for a table. This is a slow dining experience, so do not expect to be in and out quickly. However, it is so worth it, and the experience was easily our favorite memory of our time in Rome. The family was incredibly gracious and hospitable, and we loved every moment. The food was incredible and so delicious. We will definitely return!

Good food (slightly unusual takes on the usual fare makes them more interesting). Fun wine cellar - mostly populated with reasonably priced bottles (20-25EUR). Slightly intermittent service.
