I love Schola, courses are very good!

Schola è stata un delle più belle esperienze della mia vita, ho studiato come fare scarpe da uomo con Stefano Bemer ed ora è il mio lavoro!

Ho imparato un mestiere, ho conosciuto professori stimolanti e appassionati, ho vissuto a Firenze per sei mesi, nella culla dell'arte, sono stato a contatto con altri studenti altrettanto inspirati, provenienti da tutto il mondo.

I am reviewing the hat making course given by Schola Academy at the hat company Superduper. A disappointing experience.Please note the course does not include the teaching of millinery techniques. And that you can get a two year masters degree in Italy for the cost of this 12 week course. It’s extremely unfortunate that the instructors lack imagination to the point that they stifle, rather than encourage creativity.When given a photograph assigned at random and asked to be inspired by it “ in any direction you want to take it”, ideas students were excited about were immediately shut down as “not the way we see it”.Neither the owners of Superduper, nor the management of the school took simple, common sense steps to alleviate problems in the classroom. I’m sorry for the students who will take this course in the future. Nothing is going to change.Not to mention a course announced as meeting for 8 hours a day (with a “strict” attendance policy) actually met for only 6.5 at best, with the instructor out of the room and on the phone running his business instead of teaching for far too much of even that time.I see the owner of the place (Schola Academy) has left himself a number of 5 star reviews here. This is a joke.

Fa al caso di chiunque voglia avvicinarsi al mondo dell’artigianato. Dalle scarpe alle borse, chiunque qui può trovare la sua strada. Consigliati siamo, ambiente giovane, collaborativo e stimolante!
