I enjoyed the experience of the 2023 pavilion. Not really best according to the theme of the biennale , but fine.THE LIGET BUDAPEST PROJECT - a unique cultural urban development project in the heart of EuropeEurope's most complex cultural quarter is being built in Budapest. Launched in 2011, the Liget Budapest Project is now Europe's largest cultural and urban development program. The project aims to comprehensively develop the 100-hectare City Park, including the renewal and expansion of the park's green area and recreational functions as well as its centuries-old institutional framework. The City Park is a unique urban park with a 200-year-old history offering a wide range of recreational opportunities, including museums and exhibition halls, a zoo, a bathing complex, an ice rink, and a circus. Thanks to the Liget project, this part of the city is being regenerated in a way that respects tradition, but meets 21st-century standards.Among other elements, in the framework of the project the imposing 120-year-old Museum of Fine Arts were renovated, the House of Music Hungary envisioned by Sou Fujimoto and the Museum of Ethnography designed by Hungarian architect Marcel Ferencz were built, and the New National Gallery, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect SANAA will also be implemented in the near future.
