Miriam's House Pompei

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato qui per un fine settimana. Appartamento molto grazioso e pulito, dotato di tutti i comfort. Ideale per chi decide di visitare la città a piedi, essendo a pochi passi sia dagli Scavi che dal Santuario. Molto semplice anche raggiungere Napoli e Sorrento.

E' semplicemente il posto dove tutti vorremmo alloggiare quando si va fuori casa.Bellissimo appartamento curato nei minimi particolari a (veramente) due passi dal Santuario di Pompei.Dotato di ogni comfort (persino la Play...)I proprietari disponibilissimi e gentilissimi.Sicuramente ci torneremo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ottima struttura per visitare Pompei e dintorni. La proprietaria è super disponibile e molto gentile. Gli appartamenti sono puliti e dotati di biancheria da bagno e da letto, inoltre c'è un bel giardino. Ottima la posizione molto vicino al centro di PompeiConsigliatissimo!

Miriam’s House is the most perfect flat I could ever imagine booking for our time in Pompeii! At the last minute, our itinerary changed, and by great fortune, Miriam’s House was available. And wow, it truly is a luxury accommodation!From the moment I booked, Francesco and Daniele were the most superb hosts I’ve ever encountered in my travels. They greeted us at the house, and we couldn’t believe that it could be more beautiful and well appointed than even the pictures and listing’s description. Every single detail of Miriam’s House is pristine, well thought out, and just beautiful.Olga, Francesco’s mother and Daniele’s grandmother, had baked cookies and candies that were awaiting us, as well as cold water and limoncello in the refrigerator. Every single item inside the home is brand new, top of the line, and coordinating. And, every single item outside in the private courtyard impressed us too - a foosball table, ping pong table, basketball goal, outdoor seating, and also an outdoor television. The beds and bedding were so comfortable, and we slept so well.The location could absolutely not be more perfect for touring the archaeological Pompeii site, or the town of Pompeii. One of the main entrances to Pompeii is literally around the corner from the flat, as are endless amazing restaurants, cafes, shopping, and the town square and Cathedral. As women travelers, we could not have felt more safe, both in location and the safety and design of Miriam’s House.Now, to express our gratitude for Francesco’s and Daniele’s most phenomenal Napoli kindnesses. After check-in, they took us for a proper Italian espresso and pastry at the most beautiful pasticceria, and made excellent recommendations for lunch and dinner. We were worried about our taxi needs to the Napoli airport, as we needed to leave at a really early morning hour. They made sure our ride to the airport was on time. I can’t express what a relief this was too.This review may seem too glowing, but please know that my best friend and I were just in awe and so moved by our stay here. We already look forward to the time we can stay again in the future, will recommend to everyone we know who plans to visit Pompeii, and wish for all visitors to experience the oasis and beauty of both the flat and the incredible family who have created Miriam’s House. Miriam’s House is wonderful. The apartment is very comfortable and clean. My fiancé and I came to conduct archaeological research for my PhD dissertation about ancient Pompeii, so this apartment was the perfect location for us. It is very close to the amphitheatre entrance to the scavi, so it was an easy walk back and forth at the start and end of very long and physically tiring days. Proximity to modern Pompei and the Piazza Bartolo Longo was also fantastic. We spent many nights in the piazza or walking some of the streets of the modern city. The location is also convenient to the Pompei Santuario Circumvesuviana stop and the Trenitalia Pompei station.The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need; it feels like a home away from home. The ability to do laundry was a necessity for us considering how dirty our clothes got each day at the archaeological site. Also, I have Celiac disease and we needed a full kitchen as we make breakfast every morning before going to the scavi and pack lunches to take with us. (Pompeii’s archaeological park has gluten free snacks, but no meals, so we brought lunch with us every single day.) Miriam’s House has everything you need to cook, plus a full refrigerator and freezer, which was perfect for us to store all of our groceries. We had all of the kitchen equipment and utensils we could possibly need to make all of our meals, plus olive oil and spices.Francesco, Olga, and Daniele truly make you feel like family! We loved getting to know them just as much as we loved staying in the apartment. They are so warm and kind and you cannot ask for better hosts. They truly care. Daniele and Francesco also went above and beyond to surprise me with an exhibition book that I was unable to purchase myself before leaving Herculaneum one day as the shop had already closed. (It’s also not a book I could get shipped to the US!) This was a huge surprise and made my day. They are all genuinely wonderful people. They also went above and beyond with creating a list of places where I could eat Celiac-safe gluten free food. The apartment is great, but it’s made even better when you have such thoughtful and caring hosts. They communicate so well every step of the way.After long days of fieldwork at the archaeological site, we loved coming back to relax and sit in the courtyard. Just be aware if you’re a light sleeper that you can hear the pub next door (open until 1 or 2am), but it didn’t bother us as we use a white-noise machine to sleep anyway. We also had fun listening to the music while we were sitting out there.As an ancient Roman art historian and archaeologist, I will need to continue to travel to Pompeii’s archaeological site for my research. After our wonderful experience here, Miriam’s Place will always be our first choice. We look forward to staying here again in the future!Francesco, Olga, e Daniele – grazie mille per tutto! This apartment was a God-send in Pompeii. It is quite large and right in the middle of the town, literally a few hundred yards from the Pompeii ruins and travel organizer shops ad cafes, etc.. It is a modern apartment with several rooms and a back yard with games. All of the utilities, wi-fi, air-con, etc. There is a small bar next door but they did not disturb us at all and shut by 11-12ish - not too loud, and handy if you fancy a beer next door! Great location and Francesco and his family texted us every day to check on our progress. 10 out of 10. Cant praise enough and we are already planning our next trip. Ray from DUBLIN.

Un lloc excepcional, un apartament amb totes les comoditats, tot es nou i el llit és molt còmode. Les atencions d'Olga, Francesco i Daniele van ser insuperables.Van estar en tot moment pendents de tot i ens van cuidar fins l'últim moment. L'apartament està a tocar d'una de les portes d'entrada de les ruïnes de Pompei, això fa que sigui molt còmode accedir. Al voltant trobareu ple de locals de restauració per poder assaborir la gastronomia local. Realment un lloc que recomanem a tothom que vulgui passar uns dies en un entorn tranquil, allunyat de l'encantador Napols però alhora sorollós. Gracies per tot. Le attenzioni di Olga, Francesco e Daniele sono state insuperabili, sono stati sempre al corrente di tutto e si sono presi cura di noi fino all'ultimo momento. L'appartamento si trova accanto a una delle porte d'ingresso agli scavi di Pompei, il che rende molto comodo l'accesso. Nei dintorni troverete numerosi ristoranti dove assaporare la cucina locale. Davvero un posto che consigliamo a tutti coloro che vogliono trascorrere qualche giorno in un ambiente tranquillo, lontano dalla suggestiva Napoli ma allo stesso tempo rumoroso. Grazie di tutto.
