I'd give 10 stars if I could. Cherrye arranged an ancestry trip for my sister and I in 2019 and that trip left me speechless. It was so moving and emotional and perfect. Most recently, May 2023, I was taking my family to Malta. I asked Cherrye if she could help me with Malta excursions and a driver. Our driver, Alex with AJ Transfer Malta became like family to us. We had ages 62 down to 21 on our trip and he connected with each of us. The streets of Malta are busy and he always knew shortcuts. He was fantastic. We had several excursions - an all day sailing excursion with Sailing Charters Malta .com, a guided buggie tour in Gozo with Gozo Quad Hire, and a Maltese cooking class at Diar iL-Bniet. All of these exceeded our expectations. But the cherry on top was a dinner we would have never known about if not for Cherrye. It was a private dinner with a Museum Curator through Heritage Malta. It was at a Maritime Museum that used to be a Naval Bakery. It was the perfect way to end our trip. I would highly recommend My Bella Vita and her crew. You will not be disappointed.

Traveling with My Bella Vita Travel is beyond wonderful! They give attention to every detail - every itinerary, every excursion, every hotel , every restaurant. All are excellent. We have traveled with them several times; each time having the opportunity to interact with the people and to truly experience the places of beautiful Southern Italy. Outstanding Specialty Travel Service!I worked with owner Cherrye via email and telephone (an absolute pleasure) to develop a truly wonderful itinerary for a Sept. 2019 heritage quest to, and first-time tour of Calabria Some of my requests were unusual or challenging, but the final itinerary exactly suited the way my husband and I travel.The guide/heritage specialist, who was assigned to us, is perhaps the best multifaceted guide (history, archaeology, nature, and ancient and current day culture), researcher, and daily guide/driver/helper we have ever had, and we have worked with many private guides in many countries. The preparation he did for both my family heritage quest and to see that our special dietary and allergy issues were facilitated far exceeded my expectations. He was generous with his time, flexible, a relentless researcher and also just a delightful person the share these very special days and moments with. (We have since heard from others that their My Bella Vita guides were also fantastic.)I was overwhelmed and thrilled with the historical family information found before and during our trip. We saw the many villages where relatives were from, verified heretofore unknown info through local documents and people, AND met and spent time with relatives!!! And more.Calabria is also very beautiful and full of fascinating sights, history, nature and culture - far beyond what I'd ever imagined. I am a third generation Italian American who grew up in Mt Vernon NY. I was always curious about my heritage and wanted to travel one day to Acri, Cosenza, Calabria where my great Grandparents came from.I knew since I don’t speak Italian, only what my father called me when he got mad, I would need a guided genealogy tour of some kind. I searched and came across Cherrye Moore and My Bella Vita travel. Her and her team specialize in Calabrian trips for researching your roots. After 3 years of Covid related cancellations, which Cherrye was so accommodating, we got to go this past June. It was a dream come true. From the time we arrived in Paola we were in their capable hands. Gianluca drove us to Acri which was like entering a Time Machine. I was transported to being 5 years old in my grandmother’s neighborhood by the sounds of the old ladies yelling out the window, the smell of delicious food being cooked and the sight of old men arguing over bocce ball. I felt at home.The next day we were taken by Domenico, a My Bella Vita heritage specialist to the Comune to go over birth records and to the churches they were baptized in. We had an unbelievable, never ending Calabrese meal at a local restaurant. And then he arranged for us to meet long lost relatives for a caffe. They were so sweet and invited us for dinner at their house the next day!!!The day after he brought us to an Agriturismo in the beautiful Sila mountains to tour the Dairy Farm and sample the excellent food. That night we met our family for dinner and they gave us homemade Salumi they made with Calabrian Black Pig.From info they gave, our great grandfathers were brothers!!!To say I am over the moon with how well this trip went is an understatement. And I owe it all to My Bella Vita. Thank you so much.

Cherrye has done a WONDERFUL job creating, planning, and delivering 2 trips (so far) for my study abroad students. I know study abroad planning is not her normal business, but they way she takes her regular tours and expertise and works with me to transform them into a wonderful academic learning experience that has transformed the lives of my students, and myself, is 2nd to none. I would recommend Cherrye and My Bella Vita anytime!
