I needed my diploma translated from Italian to English. They were quick to respond and quoted me a price which seemed reasonable, they would have it ready by end of next day. I say I’m going to pass by their office before it closes (they say to me they close at 5:30pm).I leave my house at 4:30pm, drive downtown through rush-hour traffic to get to their office at 5pm and it’s closed. Nobody home, nobody answering the phone. I check my email and at 4:52pm, I had received an e-mail saying they were very sorry but they had to close the office early. They offer to send me the pdf and say I can pick it up the next day. I accept, but when I open this pdf I find a persons’ name in the translated document has been misspelled, so I can’t use the document. I inform them, and they have it fixed in the mid-morning. I go to their office mid-afternoon. A woman working there hands me a sauce-stained envelope and asks me to double-check that there are no errors, like that’s my job. I do as I’m told, and guess what? It’s still got the same mistake in as before. I show her, and she blubbers around the office looking for the correct document. Having found it she and another woman flutter around looking for receipt slips. This is when I discover that not only am I not getting discounted for my troubles, but the quoted price was without tax. This is Switzerland, not the USA, in case you were confused. So it’s 7.7% more than what I thought it was. Plus, there’s a surcharge for the authentication signature that I never asked for. All in all, I’m now supposed to pay 135 francs for something that was supposed to be 100, and is being delivered a day late.Safe to say I’m extremely disappointed, I wouldn’t recommend them. Extremely unprofessional.Edit: I called your office after I picked my documents up and explained I was disappointed with your service and the lady on the phone hung up on me. The next day I was busy but got two missed calls so I called back on my lunch break. The man I had spoken with originally answered. He wanted to know whether where I was sending the document, saying “I imagine you’re sending it to America”, and asking if I can bring the document back so you can prepare a document without the signature if I don’t need it.As your client, I’m not responsible for your mistakes, but that’s what he kept insinuating on the phone, he wouldn’t let me go, which is why I eventually hung up. Your office has wasted enough of my time already. The only reason I wrote this review is so that you don’t waste anybody else’s.
