This place is a scam operation. I discussed the exchange rate with the lady at the desk who told me I would be getting a the rate shown. I asked this repeatedly and she assured me, no mention was made of special fees. Once the transaction went through I was given 686 euro for $1000. When I told her she was dishonest and I want my money back she said she could not revere transaction - funny how every review has the same story. ABSOLUTE SCAM AND CRIMINALS

AVOID!This place should be shut down. The lady wouldn't tell me the amount I'd be getting in Euros until after I gave her my in passport and the money to be exchanged. After realizing the unbelievable fees she had included I tried to cancel the transaction but she said it was too late since i had already given my passport. She purposely did not give me the price until it was too late to say no. She was extremely rude and clearly she's done this countless times before and stole from unassuming tourists. What a disgusting human being.I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. Lesson learned.

This money exchanger is real Sham to dupe innocent tourists. They have a hidden 20% commission which neither reflected in the receipt they issue nor do they tell you before hand. Once everything is completed, then you realise that you are duped of your money. We changed USD 700 and got only 480 Euros in return. No visitor in Venice should be duped like that and it's a pity that such things are happening in a beautiful city like Venice.

Prelevate in sportelli bancari o pagate direttamente con la vostra carta di credito. Dovrebbero chiudere e fallire, sono dei ladri legalizzati. Vergognatevi, vivete sui turisti inconsapevoli.

This place is a SCAM, BEWARE. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ANY COST. They deserve 0 or even negative starts. They DO NOT inform you about the fee, which is 30% and written in tiny letters in a corner! We lost 300$ for no reason and demanded cancel the process but they refused and would start to ignore us despite the police being involved. They work together with them as well.

Stay AWAY from this terrible place. They don’t tell you the exact amount that you will get until you give them money. Once they get your money they wouldn’t give it back to you even if you are not agree with the rates. The exchange rate is awful and they charge 20% on top. It’s a SCAM! Police was aware of this and they didn’t do anything. This crime has been continuously committed with the help of the local government!
