Please don't use this car rental company at Perugia Airport. I rented a car through them a month ago. I returned the car with absolutely now issues. Francesco the manager is very untrustworthy and tells lies and has since robbed/stolen from me by debiting my credit card the next day with an extra unagreed charges of EU$736.00. I had already paid for the two week car hire through Ryan Air prior to picking up the car. The only extra charges I agreed to pay for with Francesco was for two weeks insurance cover costing EU$199.00. Since being back in the UK I have spoken to Francesco twice by phone who promised to arrange a refund. I'm still waiting. Phil Parker a very upset customer.

We had a great experience renting two cars over the course of two months with Budget at Perugia Airport! The team was so friendly and hospitable, quick & accommodating. Both vehicles were in excellent condition. Best rental car experience we've had anywhere. Highly recommend!

If you rent a car from here, photograph everything beforehand. even the smallest scratch. if you don't do this, they're asking a fair amount of money for damage that you didn't do when they handed over the car. You can't do anything because you don't have a photo. best not to come here..and by looking at the answers to the google comments made; Don't tell me they responded very well and tried to help. They send those beautiful messages automatically so that you can see them, and they do not respond in any way.

Be prepared to wait in queues here. Well staffed by overly complicated processes means I've had to wait 45 mins just to pick a car from this rental. You might want to try another rental if you're in a hurry.

Second time I’ve fallen foul of Avis Budget at Perugia Airport, only charged a small amount again for extras not asked for or explained but it seems from other reviews that this is a regular occurrence. Last time I was charged for snow chains that were clearly included in my pre paid rental. 6 months of emails and sales eventually saw me refunded.This time I went to great lengths to ensure snow chains were not being charged for, but failed to notice that I was charged for extended roadside assistance. Given the state of the car, I’m lucky I never used it, but didn’t ask for it so wouldn’t have known I was covered.As I left the airport the car clicked down one notch to just less than a full tank. I was out of the airport and couldn’t be troubled to return to tell them it was not full, it went back full, so I do fell really aggrieved.I travel regularly through this airport, used all the other companies and never had any problems with any other hire companies. I won’t use Budget Avis again and would recommend against anyone else doing so.I’ll try to get my money back, it’ll be a long battle. In the absence of repayment I will cost them much in admin in nothing else.

AVOID! Although we were happy with the car whilst we were there, they have taken over €100 extra from my bank account since I have returned! This was apparently due to the fact that our flight landed early so we arrived at the desk 30 mins before I had originally booked (and prepaid) the car for, so they charged us for an extra day! There was no explanation of this when we checked in with the man at the desk whatsoever. We were also told that adding an extra driver would be €7 a day (so for 4 days it should have been €28), however I have also been billed retrospectively €64 euros for this additional driver. This is outrageous behaviour, and their staff should learn to communicate any extra charges with clients so they can decide at the time whether they want to continue, NOT take money from their account after the trip with no explanation. I have managed to get Budget head office to admit this was a mistake and have been refunded (some) of the money, but will certainly not be using again!

Very bad experience.* They didn't have the car that I booked online, and they said they were all sold out.* I got a car after three days of waiting.* It was not the car I paid for (supposed to have Polo/similar with 5 seats, but I got a Smart Forfour). I did get a refund on this later, however.* The car had three major scratches and dents that were not marked on the rental agreement, luckily I checked the damage before accepting the car.* The person on the desk speaks to the phone all of the time, has time for serving the customer in at most one minute intervals (the same case on four different days I visited, so it was not just a random thing)* I was asked if I wanted to pay the extra insurance and I said no, but I was still sold other insurances (like windscreen insurance), and I realized that only afterwards.* When returning, I did not get a receipt (my bad not to request it, I tried to get one by email, but still no luck, and had to revisit the place to get one).

I rented a car from Budget in Perugia Airport and I got a nice new car,no problems.The price was good and fully insured . Highly recommended

Never rent a car from here. They charged us and didnt gave back the deposit because the cars fuel tank wasnt a 100% full it was like 98% because from the gas station to the airport we drove like 5 kilometers. Ps. When we got the car it had only 75% fuel. They will also charge you for extra things that dont appear in the contract and will never respond for your emails. When they finally answerd on phone they lied about the charges. So if you want your deposit back never rent from here
