Villa Rosa

Hidden away villa on a hillside near Perugia in Umbria, welcoming home away from home to try your hands at cooking or eating at the great local restaurants. I highly recommend it.

Outstanding peaceful and authentic Italian accomodation within a blissful setting with the perfect hosts. Access to all the joys of the hilltowns, Sienna, Florence, Assisi, Perugia etc. with host directions to Italian factory outlets and many secret treasures: walk within the castle walls at Lake Trasimeno, explore the ancient town under Perugia via the escalators, take a tour of the caves of Orvieto to see how the town was sustained during siege. It is Magical!!!

We stayed in Lino's place four years ago and have such wonderful memories of his hospitality, the accommodation and pool, the countryside, beautiful Umbrian towns, and the restaurant on the hill. I hope Lino and family are doing great.

Villa Rosa is in a perfect location to visit so many nearby places, then relax and enjoy the beautiful peaceful Umbrian country side. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in the Il Gelsomino flat that is on the ground floor of the farm house. This flat has the best equipped ‘MasterChief’ kitchen to cook delicious meals with fresh produce from the garden.The pool is crystal clear with an amazing view of the countryside with Perugia & Solomeo in the distance.Lino, Megan, Isabella and Gemma are absolutely brilliant hosts.We would have loved to stay longer and look forward to returning.
