Spadaria San Marco Guest House

Ottima Posizione, gentilezza e cortesia dei gestori, ho fatto soggiornare degli amici che sono venuti a Venezia a trovarmi e si sono trovati divinamente. Consigliatissimo!

Posizione ottima, a un minuto dalla Piazza di San Marco, circondata da ristoranti, bar e negozi di ogni tipo, ma, nonostante tutto, una zona tranquilla e silenziosa. Uno dei pochi alloggi con macchinetta del caffè e tanto altro, gentilmente offerto dalla struttura, per un risveglio piacevole e per cominciare al meglio la giornata. NB. Una rampa di scale per raggiungere la camera.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura e. Devo dire di essere molto soddisfatta, posizione, servizio, accoglienza veramente impeccabili. Grazie ritorneremo sicuramente.

Spadaria guest house is perfectly located if you want to stay near saint Marcos square. The room was recently renovated and nicely decorated.On the other side I have to mention the following:- Spadaria’s guest house check in policy is very strict and if you do not pay attention on their terms you may have unpleasant experience in case you arrive late:After reading great reviews on booking (9.2/10) we booked for the dates 14-17 April 2023 from 9 March. We accidentally read a Google review of a couple that because they arrived after 19:00 spadaria cancelled their reservation so that they could not make a negative review on booking and they did not refund them. We immediately emailed Spadaria and explained that our flight was landing to Venice at 18:20 and that we probably would not make it there on time. Their answer was very strict and because they are a small family business it is not possible to wait us. We tried to explain them that me and my husband have been planning the trip for a long time and that we had never dealt again with a similar poor policy and that they should try and find a solution and please their customers. Instead they emphasised that we should have read their policy before booking and that the fact that we don't understand and don't accept, is only our problem (although we informed them more than one month earlier). Also they mentioned that they are absolutely free to implement the company policies that they consider most appropriate and that they don't accept the tone with which I address them.Instead of suggesting us a more moderate solution to stay the first night somewhere else, because they don’t accept check in after 19:00, and stay the rest of the days there, which were prepaid, they sent us the next day the message : if we cancel within 24hours they would not charge us any penalty. Without refund off course!!So in order not to loose 576€ of the prepaid non refundable room reservation, we changed our flight so that we arrive at 13 April and stay to another hotel which cost us around 400€ .I would also like to note that airport companies can have flight delays or rescheduled connection flights without previous warning.- They insist on a very strict check in policy between 12:00-19:00 but our room was ready after 14:00 although we had arrived from 11:50.- The room they gave us had very narrow passage to the bed.- The bathroom was exactly next to the bed giving no privacy.- The first day we arrived we found hair on the bathroom floor .- For our 3 day stay they only gave us one set of bath towels.- Impossible to find the exact location using Google maps .

Idéalement situé près de la place san Marco, chambre propre moderne et confortable. Très bon accueil, nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Hôte inflexible sur l'heure d'arrivée. Notre réservation (2 nuits) a été annulée parce que nous sommes arrivés en retard. Nous avons dû réserver un autre logement et n'avons pas été remboursé. L'hôte a fait cela uniquement pour que nous n'ayons pas la possibilité de mettre un commentaire négatif sur Booking, ce que nous n'aurions évidemment pas fait car nous savions que nous étions en faute. Pour cette hôte avoir les 5 étoiles ou une bonne note prime avant l'empathie et la gentillesse.

Ho letto recensioni negative su questa struttura e penso davvero che a volte anche gli ospiti siano di parte Commettono errori e vogliono trovar ragione… A me hanno sempre risposto…Faccio anch’io lo stesso lavoro e personalmente mi sono trovata benissimo. Staff gentilissimo, pulizia e ottima posizione.Bravi!

Ho soggiornato in questa, struttura con mio marito e siamo stati benissimo, molto pulita e vicinissima a tutte le attrazioni, staff gentile e disponibile, sicuramente ci torneremo
